Thanks Donna, definitely some great tools and strategies to support learners and rewindable learning. Wanted to share the link again for others wanting to book CoL Teachers.

I have introduced this interactive game in the last week as an opportunity for learners to gauge their confidence to make smart decisions online. We have been approaching this as an opportunity to challenge our current cybersmart learning as part of an exisiting programme of learning.

Took some time to explore the updated Explain Everything: Classic Features over the weekend. The familiar blue EE icon has been replaced with the white icon similar to the collaborative version of EE. Any EE files created in the previous version updated quite quickly when opened. Liking the look of the toolbar so far. A bonus - you can now insert soundbites from within EE rather than creating in QuickVoice first.

Using animation to communicate a concept or idea... yes you can create with Google Slides. Check out Sanujan's (Panmure Bridge School) animation ... the impact of throwing rubbish down our stormwater drains.
A couple of tips for creating your animation in Google Slides

Insert background as a background image in your slide versus inserting an image - https://goo.gl/Hwzvvv
When creating/drawing objects to animate set your background to transparent e.g. Pixlr - create new image, select the transparent tick box and also save as a PNG (transparent, full quality)
Use keyboard shortcuts:
ctrl D - duplicate slide
Use arrow keys to move or nudge the object you are animating on each slide
Shift Arrow: Nudges 1 pixel
Alt Arrow: Rotate 15d
Alt Shift Arrow: Rotate 1d
To animate Google Slide automatically when embedded:
Publish to the web - Embed - Start slideshow as soon as the player loads - copy the embed code and paste into blog or site.
Look in the code for the default 3000, this represents 3seconds which is too slow. Change 3000 to 50.
If you have any examples of animations please share in the comments below.

Thanks Sanujan and +Robyn Anderson
