Um, the sound is jacked, can you re-record that? ;)

Racing Ricky Bobby...  Good luck with that.

+Jeff Valliere Yeah, well, there's always the ExLax in the hydration pack technique.

Nice.  I love it... "just get a good run at it!", followed by the fast forward gesticulating and oompah music.  That looks like a somewhat technical canyon to ride, the whole time I was thinking I'd rather be running it though.  Oh yeah, not only a shower before potentially messing yourself up, but don't forget the clean underwear!

+Jeff Valliere I really do not know much about PLBs, but hear many pros/cons about Spot vs. DeLorme inReach. There are often conversations on 14ers.com about them, the most recent one here: http://www.14ers.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=46386&p=566872&hilit=Spot+inReach#p566872

+Jeff Valliere Thanks! I like using the little tripod. Makes for some fun and different footage.

A Niestat in the making.  You just need a hip soundtrack and a 10 miler at 7:14 pace.

Excellent review, I agree on all points.  I also found the heel to be a bit too padded, which on some shoes can be really annoying, but with the 1210 v2 was only a mild annoyance for me.  I was able to negate this issue by using that very last set of lace holes (down and back) which seemed to help.  The overly padded heel issue can also be amplified if the shoe is very stiff, especially on steep uphills, but I have noticed with this shoe and others, that once the shoe breaks in a bit, any heel lift subsides.

Hey Ricky-Bobby, does Tim pay you to appear in his videos and haul his bike out of ditches?  (in beer at least?)

+Jeff Valliere Why yes Jeff, Tim does pay in beer. Crank Yankers IPA more specifically. If you have the means, I highly recommend it.

Nice knife edge riding.  Instead of a drone, just attach a kite with a gopro and keep your speed up... ;).

Glad to hear Pippit made a rebound.  I was just thinking of the time we took him up Bear Peak, he and Sierra were getting along so well, almost like she was showing him where to go and what to do and he was totally into it.  Then your reaction to Pippit's adventure when you returned was classic.

Best to Pippit from Sierra, Allison and I.

+Jeff Valliere Thanks! Yeah, that was funny. I go away for a couple days and you watch Pippit. I get back and you're like, "Yeah, I took Pippit up a 8,500 ft mountain." Awesome! Today's his birthday! Soft serve ice cream and grilled salmon for the little guy later.

Jedi Master!  Nice to see you leading as the ole' pro (or is that old pro?).  You really have got the Horse Mesa climb dialed, huge improvement over just a few months ago.  Would love to see a best of cuss words blooper reel, including your 2 second "F*ck, the camera was off" clips.  I crack up every time, must be some sort of pavlovian response thing dating back to our Longs Peak climb.

Nice, great video and good to see some new terrain.  Those technical sections look a bit stressful though.  No matter how much I leaned to the right in my desk chair, you still bit it ;).

+Jeff Valliere Yeah, the technical climbs were exhilarating and fun at first. Then, after about an hour, I was looking forward to some flat, smooth trail. I was leaning in my chair and clenching my jaw while I was editing the part where I rhino'd into the tree. That was a hard hit. Feel like I got in a car accident.
