We were recently ranked as a "Most Wired" hospital for our use of innovative solutions to improve patient care. One big reason for that is our use of social determinants of health and AI-driven predictive models to make our approach to patient care as efficient and effective as possible. Congratulations to our first CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Qualified Bilingual Staff (QBS) cohort! In partnership with the Health Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Department, 22 TMF associates participated in a 2-day QBS training last October. The training is designed to provide our bilingual staff the necessary skills to create a therapeutic environment that will improve patient-provider relationship and enhance accuracy of interpreting services. The fast-paced course was filled with meaningful conversations, fresh perspectives and fun interactive exercises. Thank you to our QBS associates who volunteer their time and commitment to our patients to ensure our limited-English proficient patients experience positive health outcomes and receive high quality care.
