Not the best of experiences in used car shopping, unfortunately. We were approved for and ready to purchase a particular model of vehicle, but found that once the dealer discovered we had been approved for the sticker price, they were unwilling to do any price negotiation. Maybe the sales manager thought they had a sure thing? Two things stand out about this experience: first, the vehicle disappeared from the website as we were negotiating, making it impossible to agree to a start price (they were claiming it was listed online for a thousand more than we had seen, and they refuse to put prices on their vehicles for the public to view); our calculations using straightforward and easily available payment calculators were consistently 40-50 dollars less per month than the monthly payment they repeatedly put in front of us, and despite along them multiple times for the calculations behind their numbers, they never allowed us to see how they were coming up with that number. Overall, a very skeevy feel from this dealership, which is a shame, since I hate walking away from a lovely car.

The staff at Jake Sweeney Kia of Florence should be commended for their professionalism and friendliness. I just bought a 2010 Nissan Pathfinder and absolutely love it! Our sales consultant, Quincy, went above and beyond our expectations. He kept us informed of each stage of the process and was able to meet each of our needs. The whole process was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The finance staff member was also wonderful. He helped make it a great experience. Thanks again to the staff at Jake Sweeney Kia of Florence!

I went in to the dealership with the intension of purchasing a new Optima at a good price and that's exactly what i did. Also meeting a great salesperson in the process. Richard with having a great personality and being very knowledgeable about the Optima made the buying process much more enjoyable. I have and will continue to recommend him and the Florence Kia dealership to all my friends and family.

I am emailing this review for my mother in law since she doesn't have a home computer. My mother in law's car broke down (after a mechanic said nothing was wrong with it) & had to be towed. Our family felt it was time for her to find a new vehicle. My husband & I have bought from Jake Sweeney Kia and have been very happy with the staff & dealership as a whole, so we took her around looking on a Sunday to let her look around. We knew the dealership was not open (which I think is great!) but at least we could take a look. We thought the Rio, Forte' or possibly the Soul. When we first mentioned the Soul she said no. Well once she saw the Soul & figured out it wasn't the "fishbowl" looking box she was in love. The dealership officially opened at 10:00 A.M. but she was excited to get there to make sure the one she wanted was still available, so we arrived before 9:30. Paul Kholman met us at the door & introduced us to Richard Dulany. Richard was very friendly & knowledgeable about the Kia line. He and Paul worked (patiently) together along with Shane to figure out financing for my mother in law & Coby was there & was kind enough to give us something for her 10 year old broke down car that we had towed there. As always you wish you could have gotten it for less $$ but at least I feel the business could have not gone to a nicer group of people. I was even able to introduce her to Tony Darpel, so that when she has Service needs she knows someone already.

My first brand new car I rate this dealership as excellent because there was a huge selection of cars, it was clean, well organized, and friendly. I have never bought a car by myself and as a woman, I was kind of intimidated at the thought. That wasn't the case with my sales person, Joe Netto. I felt like he took the time to answer questions, I never once felt talked down to or had my concerns dismissed, or felt pressured in any way. In the past when I have bought a car I was accompanied by my (then) husband. Each time it was a car for me, but the sales person kept addressing my (then) husband. I think women are often taken advantage of when it comes to auto sales or service. I didn't feel this way at all with my experience today. I felt like Joe really worked hard to get me the car I wanted and on my terms! The reassuring thing (and kind of funny) is that when I posted my brand new car on facebook and raved about the service, several of my friends chimed in that they too, had bought from Jake Sweeney in Florence and had very positive experiences with Joe Netto as well! I am thankful for my experience and enjoying having a reliable, affordable and darned cute car!

I have given the rates because when i went their i knew what car i was looking for and Danny brought me right to the car and showed me the things that i needed to know about the car. it was a good experience. this was my first time buying from KIA and i dont think it will be my last either

The expericence that we had with Jim Geis was one of the best customer service experiences we've ever had. He was very helpful, accomodating and honest. People think the a car buying experience will be difficult; and our's was just the opposite! The lady in the Finance department was very friendly and helpful, as well!
