This place is a bit sketchy but has really good chicken. It is fried really well and is moist and juicy. They know how to cook. It is pretty much a straight cayenne spice. It is hot and tasty if that is your thing. I like hot, and hot was HOT! I think it is cooked very small batch. Don't be in a hurry, even at 2pm on a Tuesday. It was about a 45 minute wait. I liked it and would go back again. The people were super nice and the food is worth the wait. This is a one of a kind experience.

The chicken was more than I expected! Loved it. If I ever come to Nashville, I will stop there. The hole in the wall restaurants are normally where the best food is. It's in the cut too. I found out about it on the Travel Channel, decided to stop by while I was in town to see Beyonce. I gave it 4 stars because of the almost 1 hour wait! But the chicken made it worth it! Will definitely be back!

A local tradition, Prince's is less of a restaurant and more of a religious experience. The lines are long, the seating is uncomfortable, and the sides are limited- but the chicken itself is unlike anything else on Earth. Order medium for a balance between flavor and heat or hot for something hotter than anything you'll find in a chain restaurant. For best results, eat as take-out at home with plenty of beverages. Tourists should definitely plan a pilgrimage to here- it is as synonymous with Nashville as the Opryland Hotel and the Ryman.

This is your typical hole in the wall/sketchy city chicken place. The food here was incredible and without a doubt worth a visit. As someone who eats tons of hot food I ordered the medium level and was pleased with the heat level. For those that like the heat, go hot at the very least, the spices have a noticeable kick to them but its not impossible to handle like some of these reviews would make you believe. My only complaint is that the orders come out one at a time, meaning your food is fresh but I didn't understand why they couldn't throw a couple orders in at the same time when the line was constant. As long as you are prepared to wait 20+ minutes for your meal you will not be disappointed.

I'm a fan of spicy food to the max. This chicken is the max.. If the place could maybe spruce things up and take pride in the ambiance of things, I feel this place could boom exceptionally. If you're looking for something hot enough to knock your socks off then this is definitely the place. I asked for the hottest chicken they had but i later found out that the young lady didn't really give me the hottest they had. I ate what i was given and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was quite a pore-opening experience. I've been several times and I'm sure I'll be back for more.
