Menu
Harlem Shake, a neighborhood-oriented burger and milkshake joint embracing the Harlem of old, is Inspired by Harlem’s rich culture and energy. It is a  go-to for familiar eats like griddled burgers, New York hot dogs and hand-spun organic shakes .

Harlem Shake’s menu also offers diners a taste of what it would have been like to set up shop in the restaurant 50+ years ago by taking a playful approach to classic burgers and fries. Set amid the clean yet well-worn ambiance, guests tuck into the signature Harlem Classics – two 2-ounce custom blend Pat la Frieda beef patties ground fresh daily and griddled smashed-style for crisp browning and served on a toasted Martin’s Potato Roll with house-made condiments. Specialties include the Pigskin Classic topped with crisp fried pork rinds, Hot Mess, a burger topped with cherry pepper -bacon relish,  and the Jerk Fry Burger topped with jerk-seasoned, triple-cooked fries and smoked jerk mayo, as well as juicy turkey burgers and house-made vegan burgers. For a great night out the menu is rounded with a selection of bottled and draught beers and wines to accompany your juicy meal.

Anchoring the space and continuing the tribute to old New York is Harlem Shake’s “Wall of Fame” celebrating famous and notable patrons and friends with photos personally signed to the restaurant. From actors and musicians to politicians and athletes, each notable has a special connection to Harlem. Do not miss a trip to the bathroom, featuring a carefully curated display original "Jet" magazine covers spanning 6 decades, and outlining some of the most notable people and moments of recent African-American history.
In Harlem Shake you will see at any time of day and night  a mix of local moms with kids, celebrities and tourists for an eclectic mix that is sure to make you feel cozy and entertained.
Come and join us for some burgers, shakes, and good times, the Harlem Way!

Love this place the lemonade is awesome. My favorite things about this place is the ambiance. It's not your average restaurant feel. Has a great vibe and old school theme with it. You can feel the history when you walk in.

Harlem Shake is a nice change of pace from the cray busy "shake Shack" craze. There is never a line and the decor is really nice. Check out the bathroom for a wall of vintage Jet Magazine's. If you don't know about Jet Magazine definitely check out the bathroom! Also have the salted caramel milk shake....you won't be dissapointed.

Heading home from a game night, my friend decided to stop here to grab a quick bite to eat. I, myself did not feel hungry. However while waiting for my friends order to be prepared I started glancing through the menu and immediately noticed that they had a RED VELVET SHAKE. Yes you read that right RED VELVET. Anyone that knows me know this is my one weakness so I just had to try it. I quickly order one and within seconds had this delicious shake in my hands.. I must say it is to die for. It felt like liquid crack. I was scratching my neck like Pookie in New Jack City that I had to order another one. This time a (large). While drinking the shake for a second time I daydream of Heaven Doors opening up and God was welcoming me with open arms. I will definitely be back again for that shake.. Though I live in Brooklyn I can say it is definitely worth the trip.

THE FOOD NEVER CAME.. TWICE!! This is just.. wow. So I ordered from Seamless about four months ago. After about 30 minutes of waiting, some rude girl called and told me they weren't coming. Ok, fair enough. I decided to give it another shot. I called today and ordered through a very nice but dim hostess. It took her forever to get my simple address right. 80 minutes pass, and I hear nothing, so I call back. Another very dull hostess answers and tells me the food is just leaving and it should be another half an hour (Two hours from when I ordered it). Now I have no time left to eat, and I'm still hungry. Service is ratchet. I wish I could give zero stars!

We stopped here for shakes for dessert. They were ok. The red velvet was subtle. The double chocolate bacon was good. The process were high for the small shakes

As a Bronxite, I ventured to nearby Harlem to try Harlem Shake the local version of the overpriced Shake Shack. I ordered the Hot Mess based off the name alone and was DELIGHTED!!! I also ordered a side of Jerk fries which were AMAZING!.. Not too spicy. Overall great atmosphere and ideal location since its near the train station.

Ordered via Seamless. Delivery is not kind to this genre, but burgers, fries and shake were pretty good. Maybe not as succulent as my fave Shake Shack, but what is?
