Great videos and very informative. Why did you mount the hinges already, don't they go on after you install the aluminum skin on the outside?

+Scott's Workshop  Thanks.  We are in the planning stages now.  I do have a youtube channel set up but right now just some dirt bike mod videos posted along with our daughter's wedding video.  But we will certainly document the build process as we go.  We are doing a modified teardrop...we really like the bigger raindrop model from CampInn so we are going to attempt that and see if we can do it.  My wife is really good at woodworking where I am more of the architect type guy.  She has way more patients than I for all the detail work that is needed when working with wood.

Awesome video...love that you made him gear up before riding. Great job....teach them young to respect the bike and he will have a lifetime of great memories. Good parenting!

Using the Kit (Transmitter and receiver combo), you can likely make it work.  However, with Win 8.1 and Surface Pro, you don't need the Tx (usb stick plugged into in video).  Surface Pro, Surface 2 and Surface Pro 2 with Win 8.1 loaded, it works natively.

Just need to blip the throttle as your front wheel leaves the jump.  It will bring your front up so that you land flat.

Nice, thanks for sharing.  I watched your other dirt bike videos (more my thing that 4x4).  Great footage.  I am hoping to get my wife to into it (with a quad) as well.  Your colorado video made me want to plan my own trip to the area.

The video does not show any previous interactions with the cop so we don't know why the cop may have been frustrated.  However the kids did not have permission to rode the land.  its private property and the cop let them off easy. This is not harassment in any way.  were it my property, I would not want someone riding without permission.  the liability alone would make me fence it off. And for the record, I have nothing against off road riders, I ride a wr250f myself.  its everyone responsibility to respect others property, don't have permission, stay off it.

Well said. Its fairly obvious that they had a previous run in where they lied about having permission. Don't want to deal with angry people? Don't work so hard to piss them off.

What makes me mad is that they ruin everything for other riders. How likely are those property owners to allow any limited use in future thanks to them trespassing and pissing people off?

Interesting view...better sense of view from rider perspective than Go Pro or other helmet mounted cams, but the camera buffer clearly cannot keep up with the amount of data coming in.  The data capture is too slow as well.  You get this weird bending and warping effect.  Very interesting though, give them some time to work on their technology and it will be pretty killer stuff.
