This winter play it safe when taking part in outdoor winter activities. Children are our most vulnerable for injury and that is what led me to writing Emma's Skiing Adventure where Emma goes on an exciting ski adventure as she shares the message of how children can be safe while skiing!

Isolation and loneliness aren’t your friends. Aside from how both can limit our basic happiness and cause havoc with our health (increased blood pressure, weight gain, lower immune, increased stress, etc.), each is associated with clinical depression and restless sleep patterns. Our focus on wanting to be alone out of fear of rejection or being judged can really grip all aspects of our life, both personally and professionally. It can also become a self fulfilling prophecy.
