I always wanted to maintain a journal, on a regular basis, rather than a fortnightly affair but everytime, I started to write my journal, I could feel something amiss and the style would just not appeal to me. So. I started looking across articles that guide me in improving my style of journal-writing. Just a few minutes back, I came across this lovely article on Journal juice. I am not sure about the results because I have not tried it as yet but I  have a feeling this will be a 'stepping-stone' for me. I am going to try it, as soon as I am done with my laptop.

Let me know what you feel about this.........

Start now:

Spend a few minutes sitting quietly sifting through your day. Write for five minutes about the highlight of your day--the best moment you can remember.  Describe the setting, what made it the best part of your day, and how you felt. Describe using all of your senses--the temperature, the light, your setting, your internal climate--your emotions, the sounds, tastes, your conversation or contact with people, if any. Bring as many details into your description as you taste the sweet highlight of your day a second time.
Finish writing, before reading further...
After you have finished writing, spend a minute or two writing about how you feel after the exercise.
Now reread what you wrote about your best moment and think about what made it pleasing to you, and underline that part.  Was it the sensual setting, the interpersonal events, something about how it made you feel about yourself?
Is there anything that you can learn from this situation, that you can incorporate into your life tomorrow or the next day or the next? Write yourself a reminder --either in your journal or someplace where you'll see it again soon, so you'll remember to follow through.
