Disability rights advocates marched to the State Capitol earlier this week to urge lawmakers to increase the budget for community-based programs serving individuals with developmental disabilities. California currently has 21 regional centers assisting approx 280,000 people. But since the Great Recession in 2007, some of these services and programs have been drastically slashed or eliminated. http://bit.ly/1R44TBC   #KeepThePromise
