The open kitchen at this upscale "diner" works with ingredients ranging from bologna to foie gras.- Google
"You have to try the crispy fries with mornay sauce, garlic aioli and fried egg."
"Incredible. Get the single cheeseburger with bacon and egg."

Not a bad burger by any means but not all that's it's hyped up to me. The bacon is very thick but the beef tastes like any other beef at any other restaurant. I wouldn't even rank it in my top 5 for best burgers. Again it's decent but I wouldn't ever wait 2-3 hours for it.

Absolutely horrible service. Atmosphere is more important to the "management" than customer service. I've never left a restaurant without paying until this experience. We waited an hour and a half before we were seated; no problem. We left within 15 mins of being seated; big problem. Management's handling of our concerns were completely unprofessional and rude. I will not return, and I would advise not wasting your time at this establishment. Food smelled great so leaving without eating was very disappointing.

Quite possibly the best cheeseburger I've had in my life! The bacon was like a half-inch thick. The beef was cooked perfectly unlike a lot of places that will just cook it medium no matter what you say (other than well done). The servers and bartenders were busy but never seemed to mind having to stop and answer a question or add to the conversation. Great place.

If you have a hankering for roasted marrow bones, this is your windy city destination. They pair it wonderfully with beef cheek marmalade and toast. And if you've never had a fried bologna sandwich, you should consider trying one here. The bartender will gladly mix you a perfectly paired cocktail or help you make a selection from their top shelf inventory. Dark mahogany walls, deep burgundy tufted leather seating and a wonderful staff make this a place you would want to frequent. Highly recommended.

Worth the wait, just find somewhere good to wait. Burger is amazing. Other menu items are great too. Waits will be very long so be ready. They do take your number so you can go elsewhere.

OMG If you wants to claim that you have had the best burger in all the land then you must stop here! Yes there may be a wait in excess of 90 minutes, however, do yourself a solid and wait it out. The place is not the largest but the craftsmanship of the burger is next to none. I was overall impressed with the server that we had. I first tried this place on Labor Day and waited in line outside of the entrance or about 35 minutes before the restaurant opened. Try going during off peak hours to have the least amount of wait time.

I have to admit this place serves a great burger not only that but the one which to me is very important was good as well the toppings all the things that come with it very fresh so when I recommend a good burger place this is definitely one of them before me personally I'm still searching for the greatest burger I've ever had haven't gotten there yet but when I do I'll definitely review it before now I can only get 4 stars

Great burger though not sure it is mind blowing. There are no reservations so expect to wait hours. I recommend placing your name in the queue and getting drinks someplace else. Beware it is also very loud. Not great for kids.
