Are USP's A Thing Of The Past?

Absolutely not. Let me elaborate a little.

If you look at most industries now as opposed to maybe 10 or 15 years ago, it seems obvious that there’s a lot more players in each space.

Great article on how not to fall victim to the perfectly structured email.

How to Tell if Someone is Lying to you in an Email

Great article!  We can judge if someone is lying over the phone or in person but an email gives the freedom to construct and restructure an email - room for "improvisation".

For a sales person an email can feed the self worth desires we have but when the reply is one filled with lies it can completely distract the sales person!

Would you rather send an email over a sales call? Would you rather spend the day on Twitter attempting to find new customers or get out there and in front of the crowds?

This company is taking back to the "old school" way of doing business and getting themselves in front of customers and potential franchisees.

An Entrepreneur Explains Why He's Driving A Food Truck 4,500 Miles This Month

A great example of an entrepreneur getting back into the world of sales calls and getting out there - we agree with Scott that so many new business owners have gotten lazy, sending an email over a sales call rarely generates the results you're after.

Altho Social Media is important in this wired world- SOME business models are STILL best served by "in person" sales calls.

CrossFit - Do you like how the company is run?

CrossFit, ever tried a circuit? Ever thought about opening your own CrossFit gym? Both harder then it seems.

LinkedIn Masterplan review!

LinkedIn Master Plan Review: Thought i'd put together a little review of a recent course I jumped on via Udemy.

The course can be found on the link with this post.

Firstly, if you've used LinkedIn before and know you're way around it then you'll probably find this of very little use. I was in the boat when I took the course and realised that I already knew my far share of LinkedIn, it's resources and how it generally works.

The course categories are split into:
- LINKEDIN OVERVIEW
- LINKEDIN ACCOUNT SETTINGS
LINKEDIN GROUPS THE POWERFUL NETWORKING WAY
- JOBS, COMPANY PAGES AND NEWS
- SUMMARY

There is actually a heap of knowledge, tactics and lessons to take away with you. IF you've dabbled with the social network before but haven't given it the full attention it deserves then this may be the thing you need.

LinkedIn is a powerful resource not only for sales prospecting but for building connections and creating new opportunities that few other social networks are capable of.

If you happen to give the course a go, let me know what you though too! Would love to hear opinions on LinkedIn as a business tool too.

The Decision Makers Psychology Explained #sale  #business - It's one thing to have tips on speaking with the decision maker and winning them over but how do you really use those tips effectively?

I'm a firm believer of understanding the mechanics before trying to implement an idea. Once you understand the functions and processes that occur both on a subconscious and conscious level you can start to tailor the tips and approaches to best suit your situation.

Dive into the psychology of a decision maker!

It's great to see someone else acknowledging that we've all become lazy when it comes to generating business. We'd rather send and email over a sales call, we'd rather spend our time on Twitter rather then getting out there and in front of the crowds.

Some great lessons should be taken away from this article!

My new post on why you just lost that deal.
Part of the sales strategy plan and a sales profession is to be able to lose a deal or at least be able to handle it. We can’t handle it and generally we go on a rollercoaster ride of emotion there...
