An ode to one of the greatest hitters who ever lived, Stan The Man from Donora, Pa. As only Gene Collier could do it:

"To get your baseball mind around the way Stan Musial hit, to embrace the utter relentlessness of his prowess, it's instructive to think of another Willie, of the late Wilver Dornell Stargell, the first-ballot Pirates Hall of Famer. Mr. Musial was the arithmetic mirror image of Stargell in that each hit exactly 475 home runs, except that Mr. Musial's batting average (.331) was some 50 points higher, with roughly twice the doubles and three times the triples.

Such are the differences between the truly great and those few who are assuredly among the greatest. Some 17,000 men have played Major League Baseball. Five drove in more runs than Stan Musial."

Sources tell me Steelers are considering shopping Ben Rapelesburger because they like Todd Haley's belief in incorporating short passes - which Ben cant do.  I think I speak for all Steeler fans when I say that Ben getting that underage girl drunk & keeping her in a bathroom, was worse than the fact Tomlin intentionally slowed down Jacoby Jones on that kickoff return.

As poor as the Steelers ground game was in 2012, it's only going to get worse.
Here's my story in today's Pittsburgh Post-Gazette:

Well it is now December 2013 & the results are in on this season.  I'm a life long Steelers fan, & I think I speak for all Steeler fans when I say Tomlin became too lazy 2 years ago & is at the point now of abusing the Rooney Rule.  The past 2 offseasons & 2 reg seasons, Tomlin's lack of preparation between games was visually apparent.  And on a less-important note his hypocracy regarding discipline, then now his cheating embarrassed the organization.  Is his laziness because of his job security, or just resorted to inherent lazy nature, he's just counting his fat wallet because Rooneys wont get rid of coaches.

Browns stink & had nothing to play for at Pittsburgh 12/29/13.  Steelers missed playoffs because early in season Tomlin & other Steeler coaches didn't prepare as much as other head coaches.
