Thanks, Craig. He's an amazing little boy. I've got the Tpad 32Gb off an internal HP fire sale for employees. Only one per employee. tho. The beauty of the CyanogenMod 7 is that it allows dual to either Android or WebOS.
HP's Touchpad (or should I say Ouchpad?) fire sale for employees only ended last night at midnight. Each US employee had a chance to purchase only 1 of ouchpad. A friend co-worker already got his today.
Got mine via a friend who works for HP. It's really not a bad system and well worth it for the sale price. WebOS has some nice features and he Homebrew apps take less than 5 minutes to set up. Looking to play around with the Android port once it's made available.
After all the fuzz, apparently HP has change the plans (yet once again) on the PC business - and also for the TouchPad and it's WebOS. However, I wonder what are the chances of WebOS surviving against Android, and now Windows 8?
IMHO, it will be a very steep uphill battle to go against iOS for many reasons, including lack of apps among many others. I can only hope WebOS will continue to grow, and most important, become a fully HP supported. Enough of throw aways.
