Great authentic Austrian food. Polite servers. Great atmosphere. Engaged owner. And....oh yeah BOOTS of beer! A wonderful experience. My wife and I will be going back and take anyone with is who is visiting. Give it a try, you won't regret it.

I came here with a huge group of friends (about 12) the other day and Leopold's was very accommodating. I had the Ksesptzle, the Austrian mac and cheese, and it was delicious. The portion was huge and very cheesy just the way I like it. I also tried their Choucroute Garni Platter. Their house-made bratwurst was very tasty as well as their potatoes. I'm not a huge fan of German food, but this place was pretty tasty.

Amazing food and service!! Just make sure to get there early...seriously...coordinate to you het there early, almost right after they open because it will get crowded and there are no reservations to be made. First come first serve and they will gently turn you away if they are booked for the night. Do yourself a favor and plan ahead to get there early.

We just moved into the neighborhood and found this charming and delicious. The food was a lot, but great for splitting. The strudel was delicious. We will be back!

I love Leopold's! Great food and atmosphere - an excellent retreat in SF for some delicious, hearty Austrian food. My boyfriend, who spent the majority of his childhood in Germany, loves coming here for food and beer. My only comment would be that I'd love it if the menu varied a bit - I've tried everything at this point and would love some more options!
