These people geek out of their coffee and it shows. They brew a great cup. However if you're a fan of "Char-bucks" this may not be your place. They don't make your "coffee" drinks here. Kind of pricy as well.

Great atmosphere, great drink selections, and your money isn't going to starbucks. We call that a win-win-win.

Great coffee, but this location has the worst Batista's in regards to their attitude. The level of smugness and elitism is through the roof. They're definitely not going out of their way to be particularly friendly at any point in the process. It's unnecessary.

Great coffee, knowledgeable staff. Very nice atmosphere too. Good, comfortable seating; great for reading a book.

Continues to offer the best coffee in Austin. The baristas are friendly and knowledgeable, offering great advice on what to buy and how to brew it. The space is not my favorite: precious few outlets, often very cramped when crowded. But, the coffee is good enough to allow me to ignore it. Parking can suck around noon. I recommend any and all Japanese iced coffees.

Houndstooth coffee is my favorite coffee place in Austin. It is a combination of their high quality and globally diverse coffee, the WiFi, and the fair prices that keep me coming back time and time again.

The coffee was decent but I thought it was really expensive! I can get a better Cappuccino for less at Genuine Joe's or Epoch. I have only been once, however, so I'd like to give it another shot and I hope it wows me this time! There are a few tables outside and the indoor area is really nice though - so perhaps I'll make another trip to study or park it for a bit.

When I tried to walk in, the line almost spilled right out. I was nervous at first but I really wanted to try Houndstooth's cortado so I decided to stay. Not only did they knock out the line, the drink was ver well prepared. I love the interior - we chose to sit outside which I probably won't do again since overlooking a parking lot isn't very exciting - plus the Texas heat really got to me after being outside for an hour or so. The staff is very friendly and everyone seemed happy to be there.
