The worst barbecue I've had!, i think they nuke most of the food , service is very slow, don't go during slow times you will receive poor service from your waiter... The manager is African and will be downright insulted if you complain about anything. Bottom line don't go to Robins

I often talk about Robin's Woodfire Grill on my radio show and for good reason. When it's on it's on fire, the best beef ribs are found here at Robin's. Full Bar and many beers on tap! I love it

We went with friends for lunch for the first time today. Great & friendly ambiance. They had a ridiculously large menu with various choices & prices for combos & sides. We all ordered different combinations. There was a ton of food in each order & plenty of "leftovers". Our server, Brandon, was a "charmer" & willing to satisfy our questions & requests such as trying all 4 sauces, before ordering. The "boysenberry loaf " with the sweet berry butter was a great start The chicken was tender & infused with the sauce, (not just layed on top). The various ribs were great, with plenty to chew on. We shared some of our sides & all were good to great ! The mashed potatos satisfied my garlic addiction; the onion rings had a crispy batter & the coleslaw was "clean" & not swimming in mayo. Our server remembered to refill our drinks without our asking. They didn't have "handi-wipes", but rolls of paper towels were handy nearby & Brandon was nice enough to bring us "finger bowls" of warm water. My husband didn't care for the sweetness of the sauces, but the rest of us did. (Those are our only complaints.) The food was great, the service was as good or better with attention to everyone @ each table with a "sincerely cheerful" attitude & willingness to be of service (very rare these days). All around... a wonderful experience in every way. We WILL RETURN !!!!!!!!! (I'm NOT R. Rene', but his spouse, for this posting.)

Texas style barbeque that is really darn good. The baby backs and hot links are wonderful.

I am 73 years old, and I just ate at Robin's the best hamburger I have ever had! The service was a bit on the slow side, but it was worth the wait. My wife, who works nearby, recommended Robin's. We were there for lunch. I bet if you would come off hours, there would be hardly any wait. We are going there right now at 3:00 PM, and we will see about the service. I have a salt problem, and my blood pressure skyrockets, if I even have 150 mg of sodium chloride (salt). I had no problem eating their luscious hamburger. I have not had the ribs because there is salt in the rub that they use. I just enjoy their large hamburger with a salad! I recommend Robin's to my friends. It has been in business for a long time, and there is a good reason for it!!!!!!!!!! Art Glendale

Went with a group consisting of 8 couples. Manager suggested we arrive at 5:30, which we did. Service was slow. My husband and I ordered the Rib Tips and a Classic Cheeseburger & fries. The diet coke was "flat"...no fizz to it. Refills were difficult to come by. The Rib Tips were cold on the top, allot of fat and bone...hardley any meat. What I could eat was flavorful. My husand is not particular. He ordered a cheeseburger, slaw and fries, I took a few of his fries only to be surprised by a "fishy" taste. My husband said he could not eat them, they smelled and tasted like fish. Two other members in our party complained about the same issue. I spoke with the manager (a small black man of slight build) who said, sorry ma'am but we don't fry fish on Saturday. I asked about changing their oil (how often) they changed it and he said "we use fresh oil". He was obviously misrepresenting. I asked him to take a few fries off our plate or go into the kitchen and sample some, as they were obviously fried in old oil. He said, it cant' be but I will check. He never returned, never offered a replacement, never acknowledge a resolution. Very rude. We will not be back. Bad service is one thing, but bad food and a manager that is to busy to acknowledge a customer complaint is an entirely different story.
