What an emense blessing it is to have discovered Visual Learning Systems Digital Science Online! Visual Learning Systems Review The timing for this review is absolutely provincial. 2012-2013 has been an incredible school year! We are not quite finished yet, but we are close and I'm in awe of how amazing the year has been. Truly with this kind of beginning for our homeschool experience is amazing. I'm delighted to have gone deeper with books and really watch my young preschooler's mind fly, and that is what we are doing with Memoria Press Junior Kindergarten. Because of what Memoria Press has put together with their t...

5 Year Old Kindergarten 2014-2015 *This post is so tardy! I’ve had it drafted and saved in my folder waiting for me to edit it and add pictures for so many months now, but alas. Yet now, as my bouncing baby boy is six months old! It’s time for me to catch up…* Two years now has brought our family such blessings through our experience with Junior Kindergarten and then Kindergarten (review in progress) through Memoria Press so we decided first on o...

Homeschool parents do not need to worry about whether their children are keeping up with others. The key lies in allowing your child to learn at his own pace.

I love my PEN posts, and this is perhaps the one that I've been most excited about all year. I have a handful of favorite authors, not just for their writing, but for my personal relationship with them as well and dear Julie is one of them. I feel blessed to have her here on my blog and in my life and I'm delighted to share her thoughts with you today!

2013-2014 was our K4 year and our main curriculum has been the Memoria Press Classical Core Curriculum for Kindergarten. (I cannot believe we are already halfway through the next year, these memories seem like yesterday!!) These Lesson Plans are written out for one year. At this point we are within a handful of weeks to completetion, possibly days. This year follows our K3 year with the Memoria Press Junior Kindergarten and prior to that Tot Scho...

Having just finished drafting my post for the K5 Curriculum (even if it is six months late!) I figured perhaps I should also write a post for our PreK3 Curriculum this year as well. As my second child is entering into the world of academia I am learning some important lessons. While AppleBlossom was ready to jump and run early on and loves workbooks and “doing school” things… her sister is, well… a free spirit. OrangeBlossom should have been call...

Born in 1451 in the seafaring nation of Genoa in northern Italy, Christopher Columbus grew up watching ships sail into the harbor loaded with riches from Egypt, Spain, England, and Belgium. Columbus was convinced that he could gain gold, silk, ivory, and much personal wealth for himself if he were to sail west from Europe to the East and trade with China and India. When Queen Isabella of Castile and King Ferdinand of Aragon finally provided him w...

Introduction
Young, married to an enginerd, SAHM as of July 2009. I'm a quilter, cross stitcher, and genealogy addict. My blog Creative Madness Mama is where I post pictures of my latest creativity as well as book reviews and product reviews. I try to stay as up to date as I can on the latest of Christian Historical Fiction and live to promote good books to others with various suggestions of what to read. Most recently I have started a community for CHF for readers and authors to stay up to date on the latest and greatest to add to our ever growing TBR piles. *Grin*
