By day, she works as an Adult Services Librarian at Itasca Community Library in Itasca, IL, where she handles: collection development, social media/marketing, reference and publicity. She has more than eight years worth of experience working in public libraries.
A Mississippi native of Faulkner's "Yoknapatawpha," Lisa grew up in the heart of Central Illinois Amish Country (no, she isn't Amish - everyone asks that). A Chicagoan since college, she enjoys all the bookish opportunities living near a big city offers: attending author and other literary events, writing about and sharing her experiences via her blog as well as social media, and taking advantage of writing classes and opportunities.
Hobbies include: photography, multimedia art painting collage and journaling, during her rare downtime.
