Introduction
Lisa Guidarini has been reviewing books, interviewing authors and writing her blog - Bluestalking - dedicated to all matters book-related, for more than a decade Her work has been published in such venues as: Booklist, Public Libraries, Library Journal and BookBrowse.com, among others.She has recently been contracted by the Chicago Tribune to write book reviews.

By day, she works as an Adult Services Librarian at Itasca Community Library in Itasca, IL, where she handles: collection development, social media/marketing, reference and publicity. She has more than eight years worth of experience working in public libraries.

A Mississippi native of Faulkner's "Yoknapatawpha," Lisa grew up in the heart of Central Illinois Amish Country (no, she isn't Amish - everyone asks that). A Chicagoan since college, she enjoys all the bookish opportunities living near a big city offers: attending author and other literary events, writing about and sharing her experiences via her blog as well as social media, and taking advantage of writing classes and opportunities.

Hobbies include: photography, multimedia art painting collage and journaling, during her rare downtime.
