Boo! Mold! What if mold, though, could account for people's stories of ghostly happenings? Some researchers think it could! Read on.

Looking for a home? Don't settle. You have to literally live with your choice for decades. Here's a pep-talk and butt-kick in hopes of helping you stay the course.

The plot of land in your yard is unlike anyone else's, but big agriculture doesn't want you to think about that. French winemakers, though, do. Here's why their philosophy should help us really focus on "eating local".

The answer to this question depends a lot on geography and your bank account. I break it down for you.

I decided to press pause and enjoy the anticipation for a moment. Soon, I get to live every writer's dreams. Taking the time to enjoy that thought is a glorious thing. #travel   #travelwriting   #adventure   #livingthedream
I asked myself what my dream life would be. And it's the one I start in 5 months. Writing. Travelling. Being. Soaking up cultures. The writer's dream life.

My latest, another thing I've been thinking a lot of lately -- the notion of giving up my security as I embark on a five-year solo trip around the world. My thoughts on that may be surprising.
Caution and apprehension are often what people urge of me when they find out my travel plans, because I'm a woman. But...

Things are getting serious. I'm under 6 months from being in Europe, and I'll have to have sold all my belongings & packed up my life 5 months and 5 days from now.

Then it's 5 years of travelling Planet Earth, working from wherever I can get an internet connection, living out of a single suitcase.

Yeah. I got this. But where am I at? Read on. #nomad   #digitalnomad   #travel   #workingabroad   #minimalism
In 5.5 months, I will touch down on the start of my 5 years living all around the planet. Now things get real. Where am I with planning? What's to come?

Story
Tagline
Writer and wisecracker from Vancouver, Canada.
Introduction
Found north of the 49th, in the Vancouverish hinterlands of Canuckistan, I'm a writer for hire, a happy editing lackey in the television industry, and a general wisecracker.

Blogging since 2004, I've tackled every topic from sex to getting struck by lightning (not me, some unfortunate bastard), and you can find that writing at  CuntingLinguist.com. (Ooh, nasty.)

If you need some snark in your day, my Twitter feed gives me an outlet and keeps me sane, as SmuttySteff.

Sometimes I blog about the food I cook, which is almost always tasty, and usually edible by humans, and that can be found at SmuttyEats.

I invite anyone who'd like to follow me to do so, but I don't promise a follow-back. I'm using Google+ for my sake, and think you should too. Thanks for reading!
Bragging rights
I won "Most Improved Student" in Grade 5, and make better chicken pot pie than your mom.
