IPTV is great. Is perfect both playlist source option, local file and remote URL. I prefer remote URL, because of that I have some suggestions:
1. Check if original m3u mime type works, I think that works only plain/text
2. Cache remote URL. The playlist is download each time when I switch playlists.
3. Add support to EPG (electronic programming guide) to IPTV, I have the source, you don't need provide
4. Check it, but I think that is working only final stream URL. If have redirect does not works. On browser works fine. (example https://www.blogger.com/video-play.mp4?contentId=75a9d259a3fdf374 )
5. After my Samsung smart TV to be updated to last version some m3u8 live stream doesn't works.
6. Cast audio and video to encode supported by Samsung smart TV when the stream is routed by smartphone or tablet
