I am limited in what I can say out of respect for your husband's privacy, but your review warrants some clarification.
Yes, we made an appointment for an examination of your husband, and even after he was late by over 90 minutes, we were able to see him the same day. We can never say over the phone we will complete a procedure, because we cannot diagnose what procedure will be required without seeing the patient. For the patient's benefit, I will refer the patient to a specialist when that will be best for the patient.
The examination included a periapical radiograph and a detailed 20 minute discussion of your husband's dental condition and health, and what would be the best treatment for him. If all he gained from that was a t shirt and advice to floss more, then you are correct that his examination was a waste of time and money.
