Does wealth lead to innovation? Our list finds that median household income doesn't determine startup success.

Why? "There is a reasonable hypothesis that areas that are fertile for startups are fertile at a point in time, such as Detroit in the 1890s," says Ed Glaeser, Eleanor Glimp Professor of Economics at Harvard. "Startups come, they succeed, and then it becomes progressively less friendly as the area becomes wealthier. A few dominant firms emerge and they eventually end up pushing out startups. Areas then have to find a way to reinvent themselves."

Complete Social Media Sizing Cheat Sheet 2014

There’s nothing more frustrating than adding a logo or image to your social network accounts, just to realize that all the images sizes are completely different.  Even when you think you know the exact requirements for all the different networks, they update their sizes and then you are back to square one.

Currently we only seem to have two solutions to this problem – either spend the next few hours adjusting the images, Googling what size each of them needs to be or get fed up and just upload the images as they are and live with the consequences (not recommended)!

That is why we now have the Social Media Cheat Sheet. This is a fantastic resource which eliminates all this hassle. It’s up to date, has all the exact sizing charts and is the perfect reference point as it covers 9 major social media sites, including Twitter, Facebook, GooglePlus, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, Vimeo and SlideShare.

Daily chart: A new study examines the relationship between income and well-being. It finds that people everywhere report more satisfaction as they grow richer. Even more striking, the relationship between income and happiness hardly changes as incomes rise. Moving from rich to richer seems to raise happiness just as much as moving from poor to less poor. How to schedule Google+ posts

While I do not recommend trying to fully automate all of your social media activity, as that defeats the purpose of social networking, I do recommend that businesses with an active blog find a way to re-post key blog entries, as well as space out all your posts throughout the day. For Google+, you need DoShare.

Disgusting! This is the dirtiest and slowest Waffle House in the area. Tonight was the LAST time I will come here. It's been awhile due to a roach incident last time I was here (2 tiny ones crawling on the back of my booth). Tonight there was a good sized roach on the table coming out from between the napkin holder and salt. Ewwwww! Nasty. I couldn't finish my steak. I was out. Never again at this location. Try the one on Nelson Brogdon across from IHOP or the one next to Hardee's on Buford Hwy. This staff on Friendship just does not care that it's disgusting, dirty, and roach infested.

One of my favorite hotels in the world is now an Omni property. I came for the views, food, art gallery, and spa. Unfortunately, the Spa was at capacity all 3 days and the best restaurant was full for dinner all 3 nights. No big deal, we found other amusements and restaurants in town, but it kinda defeats the purpose of spending $300 a night on an outdated room if they can't accommodate their guests in the Spa or at Horizons. The view and art gallery are still nice, but you can visit the Grove Park Inn in an afternoon and take in both in 30 minutes (and have lunch on the heated veranda), and stay somewhere else just as nice for less money that will be far more modern. If you book here, reserve meals (better to reserve and then cancel, than to miss out) and spa treatments long before arrival. Not a great spot for folks who prefer spontaneity and adventure--far cheaper and better choices. Things I noticed this trip: everyone at the hotel was 50 and older. Hadn't ever noticed that before... And the extremely old elevator in our wing was forever out of order. Climbing steep steps got old fast by the end of a long day of sight seeing... Finding a valet to deliver or park my car was extra challenging, yet 3 or 4 would end up milling about if I waited long enough. They aren't easy to find.

Worth the trip from Ashville. A small size cavern, but the tour is fun and enjoyable. Brad is a hoot!

This is my favorite place. The food is exceptional. It's a very small space (15 tables) so avoid noon and 6pm if u hate waiting. But it's worth the wait! The specials each day are outstanding.

This was fun and worth the drive from Asheville. The drive was scenic and in Oct when the leaves were changing, the scenery was spectacular. This would be especially fun for kids, but I had fun with the hubby mining for rocks. We got a small bag full of cool rocks for a $30 bucket, to mine ourselves. Go when it's warm--it's outside and your hands are in water. But this places was worth the trip and the money. #FUN

Dumbest Thing EVER! Stay elsewhere.... Was driving to Asheville from Atlanta on a Monday night. At 3am, decided to stop at this hotel to see if they had rooms available--would be staying only 7 hours. Was quoted a rate of $154 (no AAA rate; no AARP rate). Hotel preferred having an empty room than offering a fair rate. Every other hotel nearby had rates at half the Hampton's price. Stayed next door for $65. Might be ignorance on the part of this location, but it damages the whole brand for this location to be so ass backward. Probably won't pop into a Hampton Inn when traveling late and looking for a place to sleep...Idiots.
