CMS is now proposing a modified HEDIS risk adjusted scoring method that will impact Medicare Advantage and ACO businesses.  Increased emphasis should be placed on EMR integration and deriving knowledge from ICD-10 CM diagnosis and ICD-10 PCS to better analyze and measure populations

If more health plans used clinical scenarios to test and remediate their coverage determinations, they would have clearer understandings of the ICD-10 requirements

So far, health insurance exchange (HIX) web sites as of October 1, 2014 remind me of primative mortgage loan origination web sites of ten years ago. You provide your information, get some online quotes, and then you receive random calls from brokers.  Not a great consumer experience.

ePrescribing regulations mostly good, adoption accelerating, but backlog creates challenges with exemption review.

Some specialties have moved faster to adopt ICD-10 than others.  Regardless of the medical specialty, our team has clinicians, regulatory, coders, HIM, operations and business strategy experts to help you through the ICD-10 transition. #ICD10

ICD-10 is about 30% IT and the balance is non-IT related.

Penalties for healthcare regulations.  Wonder if these will get people's attention and get them moving in the next 12 months.

Great kids menu! Excellent prices and healthy choices for children and adults. Special prices on certain evenings when you arrive early. If you get a window table you and the kids will be treated to an amazing wildlife show - the pelicans, herons, and egrets vie for bait as the fishing boats come in. Fantastic view. Friendly attentive service. Exceeded expectations. I recommend for a date night or family meal.
