One of my favorite restaurants in Chicago! Such tasty food – this is so much more than simply a hotel restaurant. Love how cozy the bar area is in winter too. They even offer free roasted chestnuts at the bar between Thanksgiving and Christmas!

Great quality ingredients, fresh flavors and top service...all for a fair price. Had the fresh soup and fried chicken and slaw sandwich - delicious.

We had an enjoyable experience. The food was delicious from beginning to end. My wife says the brussel sprouts are the most amazing thing she's put in her mouth. Pineapple upside down cake was delicious, the coconut sorbet was perfect. We took a long time deciding what to eat because everything seemed good. Prices are decent for what you get. I am sure if a vegetarian went there they'd have no problem putting something together that isn't a veggie pasta. Server was a bit annoying, talking to us in a voice I would save for a toddler. The couple who was sat next to us was someone the staff knew, and they got "the voice" more than we did. We would go back next time we visit Chicago.

I enjoyed afternoon high-tea here with a few friends and cannot speak more highly about the atmosphere, service and dishes. From the moment we arrived through our departure, the staff were knowledgable and attentive but not overbearing. The space is exactly what you come to expect from the Four Seasons: luxe and unique (Chanel lipstick trash can in the women's bathroom) but it's also cozy and inviting. I'm not sure if the high-tea is a seasonal specialty but the Not Your Aunt Sally's High Tea was an exciting modern twist on tradition. It featured the typical treats like scones and sandwiches but also came with a BLT push-pop, apple pop tart and other goodies. I highly recommend for a girl's afternoon out or a special occasion.

Great service, good concept (farm to table) but good not quite up to where it should be. Very kid friendly, had both breakfast and dinner there. We had the chicken for two which was a bit dry and paled in comparison to the Four Seasons' gold standard, the chicken for two at Four Seasons Hong Kong's Caprice.

It is a casual/fun/trendy place for quick drink, or romantic hangout. Food is more like bar food, little bit salty..but good. wouldn't go for expecting full dinner menu. but drinks are good. fun non-alcoholic menus as well. Surprisingly kids friendly place as a bar. service is good. I am glad that I tried it and look for to go back.

So annoyed! A host from Allium called me 10 minutes before my reservation today, (while I was parking) saying they no longer serve high tea. When I made my reservation last week I requested a seat near the fireplace and made a note that we were coming for high tea to celebrate my husband's birthday. Not being notified in advance (10 minutes doesn't count!!) ruined our entire day and my themed gift which revolved around their fireplace and high tea. Besides being extremely disappointed, I was left in a lurch as that was his birthday celebration and now it is ruined. I would expect way more from the Four Seasons

I was treated to lunch here recently, and I have to say the experience was unique. As a gardener, a "farm-to-table" restaurant theme doesn't really appeal to me because in the summer I eat straight from the garden all the time. Although, I can see how this appeals to those who don't grow their own food. I had Cheese Lavosh, soft pretzels, deviled eggs for starters. To drink I had Black-rose lemonade and lychee orange blossom soda. It was all delicious. But the all natural beef burger was a letdown considering how impressive it looked on the plate and it's $19 price. For being so tender and "juicy" the beef was flavorless and the "secret sauce" didn't help--in fact, it made things worse. The bottom bun was so wet I had to eat the burger with a fork and knife. The side of fries were cold and boring. How do you get french fries wrong? I dunno, but the desert (I can't remember the name, but the float with the cotton candy) really saved the day. I'd go back for drinks, starters and sweets.
