Analysis of Donald Trump's chances. From purely a marketing perspective, this is the mother of all conundrums for the Republican Party. Trump is Audi's unintended acceleration debacle from the mid-80s--Audi took twenty years to recover from this, and unintended acceleration wasn't true!
Perhaps the best case for the Republican Party is to ensure that Trump loses and then work to make Hillary or Bernie a one-term president. But then Republicans have to dedicate themselves to another four years of working against the president as opposed to for the American people. Not clear that the American people want this either.
