I know this place is popular but the whole attitude of the staff isn't very welcoming. I went there with my boyfriend since he hasn't been and was excited to try their beers. I am vegan and there is only 1 vegan option, a barley burger, that comes with either fries or a salad. The menu should state that the fries are not vegan. They are cooked in the same oil as deep-fried meat according to the waitress, making them not vegan-friendly. This would be like trying to serve a vegan vegetable soup made with chicken stock. And unfortunately I could taste residual meat on the outside of my burger..seems as though they don't use an uncontaminated surface for the vegan burger. I originally asked for the tacos but with veggies instead of mahi, and they were unwilling to add veggies which just seems ridiculous and lazy to me. I'm going to avoid this place as much as possible! Karavalli is a great sit-down place for vegans in Saratoga so I'll stick with them when I want to go out for food.

I went to see Luba after seeing her positive reviews online. I have, well had, long blonde hair down to my chest. I was looking to have my roots touched up and a very minor trim so that I could continue growing my hair. My hair seems to take forever to grow, it's taken me years to get it to this length. But somehow lost about 3" in this visit to Salon De Larue. Luba touched up my roots but also applied bleach down through my hair which isn't what I wanted. I know that bleach strips the surface of the hair, making it thinner and more fragile. And of course I have been very careful with my hair, trying to keep it healthy while growing it out. She was taking forever to apply the highlights so I warned her that my hair responds quickly and I didn't want to end up with white streaks. After checking my hair, it was already getting too light so she had to wash out the lighter streaks, leaving foil on the back of my head so the rest of my hair could process. That was awkward, and I've never had anyone do that before. Once my hair was washed, I was a little nervous about the color but it wasn't terrible. My problem is with the cut. I asked for a trim and I made a point to mention I didn't want to lose much hair a few times. She kind of cut me off every time I expressed a concern, telling me it would be fine. Next thing I know, a ton of hair is gone. This is going to take me at least 6 months to get back to my previous length, that is if I don't get it cut between now and then. Sure it's just hair and it will grow back. But I paid $200 for a color/cut that I didn't quite want. Next time, I will definitely go to another salon that is more considerate of my needs.

I love this place. My boyfriend and I come here almost every weekend. The food is awesome and so is the staff. Definitely my favorite Indian restaurant in NH.
