Be wary of the service..... I have had to wait to be seated sometimes for 4 to 5 minutes while the wait staff were in the back socializing and talking oblivious to the fact that they had a patron there in the front to the restaurant waiting to be seated. The food is always good. But the wait staff seems "asleep at the wheel" on occasions as I've had to wait more than 15 minutes before my waitress even took my dinner order with not that many customers in the restaurant. (I was served drinks and customary appetizer but she literally forgot to take my order till 15 minutes later when she asked how everything was!) No complaints about the food... Just need to keep the wait staff focused.

My wife and I and friends eat here often and always find the food and service excellent. The friendly atmosphere of the employees to their customers make for a fun dining experience.

Dined at Opa tonight. The Mousaka was out of this world! Had a difficult time understanding the waitress or getting her attention. I think it was just an off night for her. I will come back though because the ambiance and the food was Fabulous! The price was just right too!

Food is 4 stars. Service once seated, 3.5 stars. Good luck on getting seated though if it's slightly busy. In a dire need for a hostess or someone that actually cares that you are dining in.

We wanted to try this place, but didn't get a chance to. We walked into the restaurant, it was busy, but we saw 2 empty tables. Waited for a good 3 minutes to be seated & there were at least 3 waiters on the floor, 1 passed by us and never said a word. At this point, most of the customers were staring at us and it was getting a little awkward so we decided to go to Athens on 4th St. I don't think I'll ever go back.

This was the first time we were there. It was recommended by a friend who had recently had her first experience there as well. Selection was great. Lots to choose from. Even if your "party" consists of either someone who is not into Greek food, or some timid soul that prefers a safer choice (like burgers and fries). They have it all. And it's a fun place to eat as well. Nothing fancy. And the servers apparently have this tradition of igniting your dinner prior to serving it. They do so AT your table. I damned near lost my eyebrows when I received my "Flaming Saganaki" appetizer! But the food is very good. Prices are also good! And it's a "fun" place to eat as well. You won't be disappointed.

My wife and I had lunch at Opa's yesterday. Wonderful gyro platter and Greek salad. The pita and hummus they offer (free) when you're seated was very tasty. The prices were reasonable and the portions very nice. The waiter was very attentive and kept the drinks full and checked to see if we were happy. We will go again soon and recommend this little slice of the Mediterranean right here in Tucson!
