i could not agree more with this post about the whole Microsoft vs Gmail. however its worth pointing out that if I was Microsoft I would not be making a huge deal of google algorithms reading gmail to present ads. i mean does anyone at Microsoft read krebsonsecurity.com to see how many small businesses online banking login, password and checking account balance is being read by Boris over in Moscow? using Gmail and getting relevant ads should be the least of someones worries if they are using Microsofts swiss cheese operating systems. someone shutup the marketing idiots who thought up this campaign without thinking about it a little deeper.

ohhh the lengths our US Gov will goto to protect the profits of their largest campaign donors. disgusting how the leader of the free world is completely and totally for sale in the back alleys of K street.

your Hollywood, people dont buy your shitty recycled script, massive explosion movies anymore. what to do? ohh i dont know how about plant the seeds to start taking away freedoms on the web? that will get people to go pay to see your 90min dogshit reels!!

Who is really behind ACTA? Follow the money:
Rep. Howard Berman (D-CA)[4]

Top four campaign contributions for 2006:
Time Warner $21,000
News Corp $15,000
Sony Corp of America $14,000
Walt Disney Co $13,550

http://wikileaks.org/wiki/Proposed_US_ACTA_plurilateral_intellectual_property_trade_agreement_%282007%29

this if from 2008 when Hollywood first started planting the seeds to censor the web with its local whore in congress. only $65k to eventually change Polish law? wow, what a bargin!!

if kickstarter is over $75m raised to fund beautiful new ideas, where is the kickstarter to pay off some congressional whores to actually push freedom and not censorship? we need a kickstarter to fund politicans who are anti-censorship.

why cant the net pull together and destroy any politician who dares restrict our freedoms by taking bribes from Hollywood? how can we make them unelectable? we fund anyone running against the HollyWhores and help get them elected. we do massive web campaigns to expose the HollyWhores for who they really are. we file freedom of information acts to expose their bullshit. we publish their email inbox and any document we can find that proves their filth. we scorch the earth they stand on leaving not a sole to support them. we make taking money from hollywood or anyone that is pushing SOPA PIPA ACTA or anything else that touches our beloved web kryptonite. we make taking a bribe from hollywood akin to taking a campaign donation from NAMBLA.

eventually if we really do it right NO politician will dare take Hollywoods money out of fear of the web and being destroyed by being exposed for the phony whore they really are. if we want to protect our web we must fight the dirty fight and join the disgusting process that is American law.

just gimmie a wheeler dealers app already!!

when was the last time you waited until 8:00 pst to login to facebook on your iPhone, and then after 10 min you had to pause consuming facebook so you can watch 4 thirty second commercials? and have you ever missed forever a sms message from a friend because you step into the shitter during a commercial break and didnt get back in time?

TV please let apple do to you what the did to music. it might hurt and you might lose some old friends, but those old friends are really holding you back.

Dear US & A,

i want to thank you for your Securities Exchange Act of 1934, it was a great piece of legislation that helped protect the poor uninformed citizens from unscrupulous wall streeters looking to make a quick buck scamming.

however, it is no longer 1934 and the information of the world is no longer delivered on papers called "The <insert city name> Times". its 2012 and the humans of earth now have a new medium of communication called the "internet". its a "web" of connected computers that allows us to share ideas and knowledge in text, pictures, and even moving pictures. its a great tool to research just about any topic you can think of, including those same unscrupulous wall streeters looking to scam us.

therefore we no longer need you to protect us from this evil, we are now fully capable of protecting ourselves by sharing information with each other. at this point your protecting the US from creating jobs with ancient laws intended to protect uninformed citizens who looked to the Gov to watch over and save them from harm. Stop looking over us, we are smarter now, we can make our own decisions using our own research that allows us to form our own opinions. Its called freedom, and you can look it up on wikipedia if your unfamiliar with the term.

Thanks for your time,
Chris

btw, this letter also applies to the food I eat, i use this handy tool called yelp to research the food i shovel into my mouth. i no longer need your kitchen police either. my buddies are much better at gauging food quality than you.

ive always said resumes are total bullshit and worthless. anyone can write anything that reads boring but looks impressive. forget resumes.

now how do you show a company what your capable of? well if your going for a position like Margot is, you show them how you would do what your going to do at the startup by doing it instead of the usual .doc resume!! haha. awesome stuff!

so im curious what these webcensornazis have in mind when the darknet is a reality, when TOR is a fat enough pipe that its not a trip down 14.4k memory lane. how are they going to censor that? i just really dont get why they cant accept reality and go with the LouisCK model and make people happy.

Yes, something along the lines of freenet might be a more secure solution in the long run. A completely distributed, redundant, encrypted, anonymous, network.

The major issues with TOR and Freenet type networks are that they are not user friendly (can be fixed with more people developing better interfaces) and speed (which is also addressed for the most part with more people joining in and sharing their resources.)

These kinds of decisions are playing right into the hands of dark network adoption .... unless they outlaw all encryption without a ' government back door' then all they are doing is setting themselves up for a whole new level of piracy and a quicker road to oblivion.

when you build a product that gets outta the way and lets you do your work while also happening to be beautifully simple, you get rewarded with sales numbers like these. i am a happy contributor to this $46B with my iPhone c4s purchase. btw, i add the 'c' to remind me of the other great product that has captured the hearts of customers without changing much for its life, the 911.

sicp-kindle - Structure and Interpretation of Computer Programs, 2nd Edition, by Harold Abelson and Gerald Jay Sussman with Julie Sussman,

I have been a patient of Dr Culbersons for over 7 years and I find myself looking forward to my 6 month cleaning. The office is very relaxed with a nice bottled water waiting for you when you first walk in. My hygienist, Barbie, always goes above and beyond what is expected to make sure I am comfortable and most of all informed about everything that is being done during my appointment. When Casey comes in you get the same level of attention to detail and he goes out of his way to explain all the technical medical information in a way that is easy to understand. Even when you are finished and leaving you get greeted by a friendly smile from Nancy at the front desk, eager to setup your next appointment and she always call you the day before for a reminder. I highly recommend a visit to Dr Culbersons office to see for yourself how a dental visit can be great experience.
