In the beginning we felt very rushed and we're told to order brunch before the 2 PM mark. 20 minutes later my wife and I received two eggs Benedict plates and we're told by the server that the rest of our party (4 people) needed to order something else because they ran out of holiday sauce. This created frustration for two reasons. 1) the waitress not realizing that they only had very little holiday sauce and 2) for bringing out two dishes and then letting the rest of the party know that they ran out of holiday sauce and had to order something else, while my wife and I eat. Not sure what they were thinking when they brought out only two dishes, but that's what happened. They server should have came too our table wayyy before and told the whole party about the shortage so the rest of the party can order their food and have it out at the same time. My pep peeve is to have all parties order at the same time and all dishes out at the same time. Anyways the manager was very understanding and made sure the kitchen crew made some more holiday sauce which usually take about 8 minutes to make and everything went well after that...Food is very tastefull, view is amazing, service that day is usually spot on, but hopefully the staff understands that without customers there is no business, especially since in this day of age everyone reads reviews before making a decision.

It was very ridiculous that they said they don't have any 1 king bed room available and the reason they told me was when customers book trough 3rd party it's not guaranteed. I booked 1 King bed intently for Valentine's Day and it didn't show anything saying room type will only be a request. This kinda hassle should be solved between hotel and 3rd party and should not let customers to bare the risk. Plus, all the hotels that I booked before never had this problem. Definitely not recommend.

Tish was great! She hooked us up with an upgrade free of charge so that our rooms were in the same building! The resort is recently renovated and is beautifully themed! Beds were comfy and bathrooms were immaculately clean! I would definitely come back to this resort!

My visit had pros and cons, I have to say the resort itself is very beautiful, the pool area overlooks the marina and the rooms are quite lovely, however the reason I'm only giving two stars is because we went several time to dine or drink in their restaurant and for such a nice resort I was baffled at how poor the service is, I'm a pretty calm and understanding person but the staff in the restaurant managed to test my patience. Not only every little request took forever, but certain things we ordered didn't even get submitted and we were waiting forever, I myself had to go ask for a soda refill by walking up to the bar, we left without dessert because it took over 40 min and I just ordered ice cream. We went for breakfast, lunch and dinner and all the service was poor for all those different times. I would come back to this resort but definitely would choose to dine elsewhere to not ruin the occasion.

Beautiful resort. Great service. Amazing waterfront views. Would recommend to any locals or visitors. Be sure to enjoy the other amenities like pool, spa, and gym.

I thought the stay here was terrible. I purchased the breakfast in bed special and what a joke that was. They are supposed to give you a voucher when you check in but at 6 pm when we checked in they ran out so they told me to go back in the morning and they again fidnt have any so the hotel says to charge my room and they will give the money back. Well it took almost 2 weeks to do that and the rooms weren't that big at all for the money you pay. Next time I will just go back to Humpreys which is right down the road and is cheaper. Thank you Kona Kai for a horrible hotel experience, I will definitely tell all my friends and family about this terrible experience

The private beach area is beautiful. The staff will even make and light your fire for you. The restaurant is also very nice. Extremely professional and beautiful design.
