Time for a survey.... remember this shit from highschool? Craft beer version. #craftbeer

1.Why do so many brewers have beards? Truly unsanitary... but probably because a lot of people that like craft beer are hipsters and hipsters love beards.... but now why do so many hipsters have beards?
2.If beer didn’t produce a high you enjoyed – would you drink it? Probably not.... that doesn't make me a drunk does it? Well maybe.... actually after working out it would probably be pretty healthy.
3. Does an excellent distribution team trump the quality of the beer –or vice versa? It is difficult to make a high quality product so definitely high quality.
4. Will craft beer’s growth continue unabated? For the foreseeable future. Liberals love craft beer already and Republicans love the economic boosting power so it's a win win.
5. Will we see a time in the future where craft beer in general is considered too expensive? No. Competition between craft brewers and between other beverage choices will drive prices lower. There's just a lot of hype right now.
6. Is it Pilsner or Pilsener? Don't care. Not my style.
7. Is it draft or draught? draught even though I hate that spelling.
8. Is it Barley Wine or Barleywine? those two choices are the same thing.
9. Do IBU ratings carry any real weight? No. It should be either relatively high IBU or relatively low IBU... none of this numbers game.
10. Is there actually some “international” organization somewhere overseeing the accuracy of these claims and ensuring that they’re the truth? What claims? People will always claim things that aren't true. Look at Fox News.
11. Do craft beer ratings & “best beer lists” really mean anything? Yes. Both in terms of hype and statistics. It indicates the average beer lover will like or dislike a beer. Also it may alter peoples perception of how good or bad a beer is.
12. Is there a craft beer bubble brewing? No.
13. Does craft beer in cans really taste as good as craft beer in bottles? I've had no complaints. But the BPA... I dunno about that.
14. Are women who know their craft beer more attractive? Duh.
15. How many of us have worried that our love of craft beer might lead some among us into alcoholism? Especially because alcoholism runs in my family... I didn't really start drinking until I was 21 out of fear........... My friends will step in if it becomes a problem tho.
16. Might craft beer-flavored ice cream be considered a gateway drug? Technically..... alcohol is a drug. But fuck the idea of gateway drugs. Are cigarettes a gate way drug? Are candy cigarettes a gate way drug?
17. Is the craft beer community inherently nice – or is everyone just buzzed all the time? A few douche bags but I think if you like craft beer you have the ability to enjoy the simple more subtle aspects of life therefore making you a more chill person.
18. How many of us drink and drive more times than we’d like to admit? Probably a lot of people but definately not me (not to be on a high horse or anything) but seriously.... drinking and driving is bad. Had a cousin go to jail because she killed someone. Fuck that. Fuck nothing else pisses me off more than drunk driving.
19. Is there a soul and is drinking craft beer good for it? No and yes. Lol.
20. Does the staff at American Craft Beer know anything about anything? yEs.

Like every trance singer... I imagined her being way hotter. I mean... not bad but that half shaved head. Am I looking at Miley Cyris? But I digress: great song.

The food was really not that great. I got the BBQ chicken wrap and it tasted like something warmed up from the fridge. The chicken was under seasoned. The rest of my family was not pleased with their food. We ended up here for the novelty of the fish tanks but it was not even close to worth it... Pass on this place for sure.

I haven't reviewed this place yet? Anyway, I used to live in GR but now I only visit during the holidays and Founders is a must stop. The atmosphere is great. Cabin like feel. There is a nice inside area and an outside area. Founders is the only bar ever that I have seen set up a section of the bar strictly for getting beer then going back to sit down elsewhere, and this is much appreciated. And this is if you even have to get up: the staff is always super helpful. The prices are perfect and the selection is amazing: there is always something new on tap and it is usually great. The beer (do I even need to go here) is amazing. Insanely great beer. The food is also very good. It's sandwiches but they are done very well. In short: Founders is the perfect place. Great to stop by if you are from the area or if you are visiting. A must if you are in Grand Rapids.

Beer was great, food was great. Atmosphere was great. Lots of neat places to hang out: there's a half inside half outside bar, a campfire, lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Get there early because it was hopping!

Food was very good: I grabbed the buffalo nachos. It was way too much for one person (same for my wife who had the cheese fries) but both dishes were very tastey. Also the beer selection was pretty solid. Decor was alright. It was a bar for sure. Could probably rock the woods theme a bit more. Service was great. Waitress was prompt and cheerful. This was a very nice place. Decor was quite generic but the food and selection were great.

What happened to the old review system? Anyway: This place is OK. The beer ranges from not so good to good (so far one beer has been really good). They do have a food truck that stops by which is pretty sweet. The interior has a nice, cabin like feel, although it is a little small. The bar has one place where you can go up to grab a beer if you are not sitting there, but this is right at the front of the building as you walk in so it some time gets a little cramped. I was also disappointing to see a giant Clemson game at my last visit. Why does every place have a TV now-a-days? It really ruins the cabin cozy feel. Prices are about average, although being at the brewery I would expect them to be a little lower. The concerts have also ranged from super chill to super un-chill. The first concert I went to was great: the volume was great, the music was chill, the crowd was well behaved. Subsequent concerts have been increasing less chill: the volume has increased (I'm there to relax, not mosh), the amount of dogs has increased (again, I don't want to deal with your dog smelling on me and barking while I'm sitting), the amount of unsupervised kids has increased (........ where are your parents?????) and perhaps the worst: the amount of smokers has increased. I don't care if you smoke, just don't shove it in my face. Especially when the band throws their ciggys in the grass..... super unprofessional. A designated smoking area away from the lawn would be idea. I understand that Quest isn't directly responsible for some of these things: I'm just sharing my experience. So you can maybe see why this place is ok. Some times it's good, some time it's bad, never amazing, never terrible. I had previously invited my friends to join me for a visit, but I don't think I am going to ask them again until the music is less loud (I swear I'm not old!!!) and it returns more to place where you can chill rather than have to deal with stuff.

Appeal of this place is amazing. The river flows right through the main trail and a couple of nice waterfalls are really accessible. Facilities are pretty poor. There is limited parking but I don't understand why. They only let people park in parking spaces but as you drive up to the spaces there is a ton of space on the sides of the road where more cars could fit. It's stupid: doesn't the state want my money? Service is poor as well. One time I did not make it there early enough to get a parking spot. The man at the gate was very gruff and seemed to want to get rid of as many people as possible. Why couldn't I just park on the side of the road?!?!? Let me give you my money!!!!!!!!!!! It pays for your job!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Food was terrible. I ordered a 4-cheese calzone. The crust was pretzel like and way overdone. The inside tasted sort of like squishy woodchips. Decor was fine; nice for an olive garden. There was a fun like pseudo promenade in the front which was pretty cool. Service was alright... we had a pretty big party so I can understand a little confusion but at the same time.... if you write down what people have you should be able to just bring it to them. A few orders were messed up. Food came out at weird times. Overall I'm not a big fan of Olive Garden in the first place: there are more seasonings than salt alone. Again, the food was terrible, the service was sub par. No reason to go here.
