An amazingly well manicured lawn, pansies, tulips, magnolia, Japanese, lilac trees, and other assorted types of plants and flowers can been seen here along with a 12 foot high jet fountain, the Untermyer fountain which is surrounded by a sculpture, and a bronze statuary fountain. Benches are situated around to sit an relax, read a book, or just take it all in. The times I have been here it never seems too crowded, but there are always photographers taking pictures, amateur and professional. It's just a very serene environment to take a walk in, and very hard to describe properly here. Each section of this garden offers different views and wonderment with some in a maze like setting. I had a great time here. *****

One of the better parts of Central Park. Lovely, maintained trees, flowers and grass to enjoy walking through (on the paved path). A beautiful walkway with benches and iintertwined branches to enjoy. Seasonal flowers to observe. Relative peaceful quiet (compared to the parts of the park with lots of people running, screamins, riding bicycles, playong games and being tourists. Probably the best maintained area of the park. And, since it's in the northern part of the park, you can explore the more natural areas of Cnbetral Park when you're there.

Relax and enjoy lunch or a good read a in this beautiful “secret garden”. Best to go when all the springtime flowers are in bloom. Fido is allowed too!

If Central Park were Manhattan's green oasis, the Conservatory Garden would be the water. This garden is not only Central Park's must-go attraction but should also be your top destination of a NYC tour! Here, you will find a beautiful, three-sectioned gardens, each section with its own theme. Awesome. Enjoyed every second here. I was dazzled by this place. *****

I just visited the conservatory last weekend. How beautiful to see the plants and flowering vines just starting to bloom. Some plants were even peaking through the snow. It was fascinating to see the wisteria pergola without any blooms, just the twisted vine.
