I had no idea I was going to discover my people when I walked into the local David's Tea (I wish I could visit every day)!

This is my second attempt at a describe your character twice (once to fall in love and once to be repulse) exercise. I'm not sure if it worked out as well as the first attempt, but I still like how it turned out:

Found this while I was going through old work to update the outline of an upcoming project. It made me laugh pretty hard XD

"Just before the Fall, there was a scientist working on an experimental formula that would have allowed us to access the memories hidden in our DNA. His name was Odyne. Doctor Odyne, but he was shunned by the medical community because of his radical ideas."

"And you associated with this man?" he hissed, outraged at the idea that his wife had entertained the man's disgusting theories, let alone touched his research.

She shrugged. "I had some insight of my own, Anten. "His research was the only way to accomplish my goals.

"You let him test that madness on you?" Anten demanded, louder than he originally intended to speak. He was livid at the thought of it.

Again she smiled that mysterious smile. "Of course not, Anten. It was never tested. Not until now."

"You-" he choked on the accusation, unable to get the words out.

A few days ago, I got stuck on a routine task that should have been simple and easy to complete. (This happens from time to time.) Mostly Word was giving me a hard time for stupid reasons and I was frustrated to the point of wanting to flip tables. I told a friend I was done with everything and muttered 'I hate everything' to myself while I went looking for the file I needed to finish the task. And then I found this. Apparently I have more days like this than I thought XD I almost died laughing (and that certainly helped with the stress levels).

Analog bullet journals just didn't work for me. So I created a digital bullet journal using excel (and you can too)!

Legends say that the blood of Alphalauran royalty can be used to bind a person to a promise:

I shared this on Twitter for WIP Joy and loved it so much I thought I'd share it here as well; a line that surprised me:

Kimuli had never considered himself worth anything; not the money it had cost to keep him alive, nor the blood spilled over his death, and certainly not someone else's eternity. No one would have marched toward the center of Hell to set his soul free.

Except maybe Sulard.
