What are your views on HOAs? Personally, I hate them, and I also think that in most cases (ie where 51% dictate standards to the rest) that they are a violation of the NAP. But what about requiring membership in an HOA as a condition of selling/buying a home? If stipulations like that were included in the contract, does that still violate the NAP?

As libertarians, we oppose public schools. I would assume most here would also oppose vouchers or any form of funding given to families for schooling, as I do. I would also assume that we would oppose forcing people to pay for school, which is analogous to forcing people to pay for health insurance. So that seems to rule out compelling attendance, which certainly agrees with Libertarian principles. But how then can we ensure that children learn, especially those from terrible homes that don't give a crap/are drug abusers? Homeschooling is not for everyone and even in a free market, private schools will cost something, likely a thousand or two per year at the cheapest. On the surface, I'd say it's not my problem. But the children don't deserve to be neglected. What do we do?

Excellent article. Too bad the idea will never come to fruition.

Got this email from the Mises institute today with the headline: "Open this email. The NSA Already Has"
