Walking away in the middle of a book that I don't enjoy certainly goes against my nature. But this article made me think https://goo.gl/8vhg7S
With so many books on the market that I'm likely to enjoy, why would I waste my time reading something that I don't? Maybe giving a second chance is ok, but beyond that, maybe it's time to close down the book for good, right?
Do you face the same situation? If so, how do you address it?

I like this definition of minimalism: "Is it simply living with less than 100 things, buying less, throwing out old clothes and stuff, or a sort of design style you tell your interior decorator to follow? [No] Minimalism really is about the benefits we experience once we’re on the other side of decluttering. For some, minimalism is a tool to achieve freedom." https://goo.gl/XBH6TZ

For those of you in Singapore who aspire to free yourself from your clutter, this Facebook group, Minimalism in Singapore, might be of interest to you.

A few weeks ago, I published a post about how the word hoarder was in my opinion overly abused. This article from fellow professional organiser and hoarding specialist Angela Esnouf from Hoarding Home Solutions explains how television shows "perpetuate the stigma, and prolong the trauma felt by those with Hoarding Disorder." https://goo.gl/dBwsqt

"Can minimalism and a thriving economy co-exist?"
Very interesting question that once again illustrates a big misconception about minimalism: "the belief that minimalism represents zero spending." https://goo.gl/HPTm28 I'd love to hear your views on this topic.
