I agree with her main point, positive thought can be blinding and a toxin to social organizations. Though by the end she was saying positive thinking contributed to aspects of both communism and and free market ideology. A sort of blaming it for everything that has went wrong. People who understand the virtues of socialism or free markets are not naive, they have arguments. Arguments need to be addressed in this case, not attitudes. (aka ad hominem logical fallacy) Economic questions need a bit more nuanced observation than a false dichotomy of "positive thinking social control" vs "realism"
