Depending on your region, when you update your LG Note II aka F200S, F200K and F200L to Android Jelly Bean 4.1.x, you might encounter WiFi problems. It might not be able to scan the WiFI networks at all or it might successfully scan the networks but not be able to connect to it. This is not a hardware problem but a limitation of Android Jelly Bean. For fixing it, you’ll either need to root your LG Note II and install “WiFix” for fixing the WiFi in stock rom, or you will need to flash a custom Jelly Bean ROM.

If you are stuck on a pattern lock and you just forgot it, or you are on the e-mail prompt screen which appears after multiple wrong pattern attempts on Android, you’ll need to hard reset your phone for making it usable again.

HTC Sensation XL is a dual-core HTC device which was released in the last quarter of 2011. Almost 2 years after its release, it is still gaining popularity in the Asian markets. Initially released with Android 2.3 Gingerbread, this device later received an update to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

In most parts of the world, devices are released via local carriers thus containing carrier-specific bloatware and limitations on the device itself. For example, HTC Sensation XL that was released in South Korea contains a lot of Korean apps which are useless for non-Korean users. Also, there is a limitation on SMS which is limited to 90 characters only. You won’t be able to send longer SMS than that unless you debrand your phone.

All HTC smartphones come with a locked bootloader by default. Luckily, after facing a lot of criticism back in 2011, HTC decided to offer a method of unlocking the bootloader via its official developers website. Since then the bootloader can be unlocked on almost all the HTC smartphones except a few carrier specific one’s sold in the USA.

An unlocked bootloader is needed if you want to flash a custom kernel, recovery or rom. You also need an unlocked bootloader for rooting most of the newer HTC phones.

Are you also one of those fellows who feel that the sound output power of Galaxy S4 is a bit below par? If you have been an iPhone user, you might realize that the iPhone’s in-call sound, ringing speaker sound and headphone sounds are quite powerful than Samsung Galaxy S4. This is because Samsung follow their own safe listening level rules. The device and the hardware actually are more powerful and sound levels are only restricted in the software which can be easily increased.
