One of the best spots to get tacos while I was a kid the meat was always tender and juicy. It kinda lost its good taste when they started getting lazy and heating up tortillas in the microwave, but overall the green hot sauce is good tacos are delicious. If it wasn't so pricy I'd eat there everytime I go to chicago.

Possibly the best tacos in Chicago. Salsa is spicy, tortilla chips crispy, and tacos are spot on. Get the ribeye or chicken breast tacos or burritos. Call in your order since cooking times can be long. The food makes up for what it lacks in ambiance.

Worst Tacos Ever. Took My whole family out. Spent over $100 on just a few tacos. They are very cheap in their ways. The tacos tasted very nasty, burnt meat, and had the worst aftertaste. Tacos are way over priced and burritos were so small they are not worth the $8 each. Dont even get me started on how it looked. It looked all run down, smelled very weird, empty. The bathroom was full of gang grafitti. DUST EVERYWHERE! That NO LIME sign just made me laugh. They kept mixing up orders. I ask myself how did they end up on Chicagos Best. Save your money. Go to popeyes or mcdonalds. They have wwwwwwwaaaaaaay better tasting food and better prices. Do not waste your time at La Pasadita.

Authentic Mexican ingredients, but you need to pay for basically everything to add in a burrito. First place I have been to where they charge you to put cheese in a burrito. This would be a 5 star if it wasn't for that downer.

Maybe they use to be good in the past but I went there about a month ago and it was not good. Had the steak and chicken tacos. The steak were ok at best and the chicken was very bland. The place was dirty and smelled. Would never go there again.

I remember coming to this place back in high school and back then it had one of the biggest & yummiest burritos I ever ate in my life. The thing took 2 days for me to eat and I brought it everywhere (trains, buses, school, etc.) It was a pleasant surprise because the place was a dimly lit (pretty much pitch black) dive with an ancient ATM machine and a few tables in the back. I could never find this place again though! It was straight out of a movie as I kept looking around the area over the years and searching the net, but it was simply gone... Here we are about 7 years later and I stumble across an article about burritos in Chicago. I looked at the description of some places and thought this might be the one. To my delight it was! The place has cleaned up (it actually has lights now!), they turned it into a full sit-down restaurant by adding a lot more tables and expanding the place. Although I laughed because that same ancient ATM that I bet hardly anyone uses is still there collecting dust along the back wall. They don't have the ground beef burrito anymore, just carne asada. The cashier was eager to take my order (asking me in both Spanish and English.) I got myself 2 super burritos one lengua (beef tongue), and one lomo (ribeye steak). She took my order down and rang my up for one burrito...which I corrected her for (would I have gotten a 2 for 1 deal if I hadn't? Dangit!). They took my credit card quick and easy. The place was pretty busy, but still had that "divey" atmosphere, but in a good way. I got my burritos in about 10 minutes and was out the door. They're still huge and the restaurant threw in a ton of green pepper salsa. I dove right into these things once I got home. They were both cooked and prepared well, all the ingredients packed tightly together, nothing was sloppy. The lengua blended perfectly with the cheese, onions, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, guacamole, etc. Definitely will have this again on my next trip. The lomo while still good, I think they didn't make it a super burrito as it was filled with rice or its an entirely different recipe. Whatever the case this place is going to be in my stable of restaurants. Right now it's the best burrito in my area and completely lived up to the taste I had on my mind all these years.

Tacos are very, very good. However, my beef is that management doesnt seem to care for employees or customers comfort. I should NOT have to wear my winter coat while I am eating and management should be able to turn the heat up a little cinsidering how much they have increased their prices over the years. Management just recently started accepting credit cards but they do not allow the employees tips to be processed. Just little things like this, leave consumers feeling their cheapness. Aside from a few little annoyances, the food is really good and you will not be disappointed.

This place has some delicious and meaty tacos, great for late night eats at a cheap price. Love their steak and tongue tacos. This place is not a looker, and you can feel that it is not for everyone, because it does not look very sanitary. But the food is great, and its available late at night. which makes it a stop for after drink munchies.
