I think I saw this place on one of the Food Network shows. So, I decided to try them out for myself. Boy, what a disappointment. Like what others are saying, almost $3 for A taco that's not even filled with meat. I ordered 2 steak tacos and 1 barbacoa, all of them were half assed filled with meat and all were soggy. I mean, I like it when my tacos have some juice with them. But these just just over saturated the tortillas they were put in, turned back into mush. Not only that, but they were heavy on the salt, especially the barbacoa. Long story short, don't believe everything you hear on tv. I'm not returning

Money hungry slobs. Who chargers $2.90 for a lil monkey ass taco? LaPasadita does. $12.00 burrito. Get yo ass out of here. La Pasadita originaly was owned by the father of the present owner. This young ones only care about themselves and not the hard working middle class who cant afford to bring their family to eat. They cater to upscale people and the hungry drunk people. I'm sorry but I am no Longer a fan of the best tacos in Chicago... for $3.00 its really not that good...

Used to be so perfect with plenty of meat and a normal price. Now grossly overcharging for tiny burritos and tacos that have literally a teaspoon of meat with a handful of onions and cilantro. I can buy at retail a giant steak for the cost of a burrito there. So mad, fk u guys. You fked up this perfect restaurant. Greedy asses non caring about the long time customers who built you up.

Best Carne Asad a burritos! A little pricey but portions are generous and every bite is delicious. A must go when I visit the area!

In the four years I have lived in Chicago, La Pasadita is the only place I've found that makes a carne asada burrito the right way. The right way being juicy steak, onions, and cilantro in a large flour tortilla. I just wish it hadn't taken me 3.9 years to find it!

I have been going to La Pasadita since 1980, in which the original location was a few stores up on Ashland. They serve up some Mexican specialties, such as carne asada, barbacoa, lengua, chorizo, and chile rellenos. My co-worker first brought me here for a late lunch; I had the beef tongue taco because my coworker ordered in Spanish for and he thought it would be funny for me to french kiss a cow.(?). The food is not fancy, but it is always good. But it used to be better, they used to have 3 stores, all on the same block, but since some have closed, it seems the quality has gone down. We still go though.

This is the worst burrito I have ever had. The barbacoa burrito at La Pasadita tastes like old Chinese food and dog slobber wrapped in an old towel. It was really wet, the whole time I ate it it was dripping salty garbage water on my shoes. Everybody was hungry but we stopped eating out of disgust. Also, isn't there more in a burrito than meat and cilantro? Embarrassed for them.
