The co-op has truly become a hub for the community. It’s a means of connecting with others and of meeting needs far beyond nutrition, although providing healthy produce is still its main mission. As new needs are identified, the members work hard to connect them with any available resources. https://buff.ly/2CNHeb8

“I have always thought about what I want to feel like when my life is over,” he says. “I want to have had a beneficial impact on someone’s life and on my community. One of the ways to do that is by giving your time, your greatest resource. You are really being unselfish, and you leave the world in a better condition than you found it.”

At Ciudad Nueva, we always need new volunteers, and the beginning of a school year is the perfect time to join our students in a new adventure for a season. No matter what your strengths and gifts might be, we can find a place for you to be connected in our community.

Volunteering at Ciudad Nueva is not just about getting the job done. Although we have many tasks that need to be accomplished daily, our volunteers pour their hearts into their relationships with our students and community members through the work they are accomplishing together.
