One of the best places on Las Vegas to eat drink and share with friends...good price for the happy hours... (Athena) the bartender... friendly and good customer service...

We went for my wife's birthday and the waiter was very rude and snoby, also they try to cram way to many people in a small room, making it very loud and extremely hard to have a conversation with anyone at your own table.... ovetpriced "tapas" with way to much seasoning on everything. Had a party of 12 that they stuffed on a table for maybe 6. Server also asked us to hurry up and not wait for the rest of our party because they were busy. bottom line avoid this place at all costs.

Love the food. Wish the lighting and music had the same sexy feel as the original Firefly.

Food is really good! I've been a fan of this restaurant for years. This new location is a lot bigger than their previous one on Paradise. The bacon wrapped dates is a must order. A grilled scallops was very tasty as well fresh ingredients and flavorful sauce reduction. The outdoor patio area's very nice and has these mist machines with rotating large fans to keep the area cool. Nice place to sit in the summertime. Highly recommend!

We decided to visit Firefly based on it's reputation as one of the best tapas restaurants in the area. We found there to be ample parking located behind the restaurant, which is a nice change from what is typical. Though we didn't sit outside, they have a very large outdoor seating area which would be nice to take advantage of once the days of "blast furnace" summer pass. Upon being seating in the main dining room, it became obvious that the reviews mentioning the noise problem were spot on. The noise level in this establishment is, just shy of overwhelming. Sitting across the table from each other, we found ourselves in a near yelling match to discuss ordering plans..and the meek waitress we had was all but inaudible. I suspect the poor acoustics are due to the very low ceilings, though it is in no way helped by the addition of blasting music which was so loud it could be heard over the already deafening amalgamation of plates, babies, laughter, and yelling. Setting aside the noise issues, the food was a bit hit and miss. The Stuffed Dates were extremely good, and if you absolutely must try the Sangria, it was amazing. We also tried the *House Special* Firefly FishSticks, which really tasted of nothing more than Panko. We also had a dish consisting of grilled chorizo, shrimp, and filet covered in a salsa verde sauce. This dish, sadly, was so overcooked that the shrimp was simply inedible and the filet was about 5min past well done. The chorizo, had a great flavor - but again was cooked so long that it was completely devoid of moisture making it unappetizing. The Baby Back Rib BBQ sauce which is probably made in house has a really nice flavor, with a little heat, and the ribs were so tender a small breeze would blow the meat off the bone. The only letdown here was that the ribs were beef ribs, and though that's not necessarily a bad thing, it was unexpected as it isn't listed on the menu as such, and because the meat of the ribs didn't seem to have much done to its flavor, the end result was that of Mom's Sunday "low and slow" roast with a really good BBQ sauce. The menu is extensive and we'll probably visit again in the future to try more menu items, though I'm thinking we'll sit outside to avoid the tinnitus.

I had the worst experience. The workers at firefly had the worst customer service ever! They didn't explain paperwork very well, I signed for something and was explained the chargers properly and was charged for something I didn't want. At the end of my stay my husband lost his medication and the people at firefly wouldn't let me back into the car I had just rented to look for it and they didn't offer to check it for me! That is very unprofessional. Overall I was not satisfied with my experience with Firefly --N. Lynch

Firefly is a nice experience away from the Strip for some decently priced food. The sangria here is usually pretty good (it wasn't as good for whatever reason my last time but the first time was excellent). There are also a host of different tapas to choose from such as the bacon-wrapped dates, the paella, and mussels. They all have a good taste with prices usually starting around $7+. Just make sure to keep an eye on that tab if you're on a budget. The decor is all red and the staff is friendly. The place is pretty quiet during the days if you're looking to just hang out while getting much busier at night. It will usually require a taxi ride or a drive since it's a little off the strip (not that far) or a little bit of a walk from hotels like the LVH or Renaissance.
