Bustling Spanish eatery serving tapas & cocktails in a loungelike setting with patio seating.- Google
"Loved the pulpo asado, bacon wrapped dates and tuna tartar."
"On the flip side the blueberry mojito was great!"

Overall a good experience. Service was a bit spotty/aloof at the bar. Food was solid - gazpacho was pretty good, green apple/smoked almond salad was very tasty, grilled octopus was very tasty too. I will come back here. Music and noise is a bit much but not overbearing. Want to try more of their extensive tapas menu.

We spent about 4 days in Vegas for a wedding, and Firefly was definitely a highlight of the trip! I'm no tapas expert but they were super tasty, and were open late. They accommodated our request to turn down the blasting EDM in our section, so the older folks could talk. We will definitely return when we're in town.

Tiniest portions ever for ridiculous prices? Check. Awful, abrasive music that clashes with the romantic decor? Check. Ordered 3 dishes and only one of them was good. Bad food? Check. Would not go again. I don't see what the fuss is about.

Busy, noisy as hell but the food is very good. Service is fine - a bit slow. Well worth the money

i made a reservation for Saturday at 8PM and we drove up right at that time. They had our table all ready and set up with no wait time at all. The restaurant is definitely much bigger and nicer than their previous spot. I absolutely love sangria so naturally, the beau and I ordered a glass each of the red sangria ($7 each). Some of the others in our party ordered the mojitos which I tried as well. Both drinks were delicious and refreshing! For food, he and i had the chicago beef bocadillos, chorizo plate and huevos estrellados. i'm a meat eater, give me lots of protein...and all the dishes we had was perfect! i also had a little taste of the dishes my friends ordered which included stuffed dates, chicken skewers, steak & mushroom skewers and baby back ribs. OMG, i was seriously in tapas heaven! the portions are much bigger than what you'd expect too so be prepared to share! we really wanted to order the paella but knowing it would take a long time to prepare and we had to places to go, we decided not to order it this time. the service was good, the food delicious, the drinks strong and made to perfection. it was absolutely one of the best dining experiences, especially with good company! Seriously, this is the one of the best places to eat off the strip!

Great if you just want a great small meal but dangerous because it is so easy to order more. Get a pitcher of sangria or mojito and you won't be disappointed.

We decided to visit Firefly based on it's reputation as one of the best tapas restaurants in the area. We found there to be ample parking located behind the restaurant, which is a nice change from what is typical. Though we didn't sit outside, they have a very large outdoor seating area which would be nice to take advantage of once the days of "blast furnace" summer pass. Upon being seating in the main dining room, it became obvious that the reviews mentioning the noise problem were spot on. The noise level in this establishment is, just shy of overwhelming. Sitting across the table from each other, we found ourselves in a near yelling match to discuss ordering plans..and the meek waitress we had was all but inaudible. I suspect the poor acoustics are due to the very low ceilings, though it is in no way helped by the addition of blasting music which was so loud it could be heard over the already deafening amalgamation of plates, babies, laughter, and yelling. Setting aside the noise issues, the food was a bit hit and miss. The Stuffed Dates were extremely good, and if you absolutely must try the Sangria, it was amazing. We also tried the *House Special* Firefly FishSticks, which really tasted of nothing more than Panko. We also had a dish consisting of grilled chorizo, shrimp, and filet covered in a salsa verde sauce. This dish, sadly, was so overcooked that the shrimp was simply inedible and the filet was about 5min past well done. The chorizo, had a great flavor - but again was cooked so long that it was completely devoid of moisture making it unappetizing. The Baby Back Rib BBQ sauce which is probably made in house has a really nice flavor, with a little heat, and the ribs were so tender a small breeze would blow the meat off the bone. The only letdown here was that the ribs were beef ribs, and though that's not necessarily a bad thing, it was unexpected as it isn't listed on the menu as such, and because the meat of the ribs didn't seem to have much done to its flavor, the end result was that of Mom's Sunday "low and slow" roast with a really good BBQ sauce. The menu is extensive and we'll probably visit again in the future to try more menu items, though I'm thinking we'll sit outside to avoid the tinnitus.
