I only went to the Hamburg West Herr because Glenn Campbell was bought out by West Herr and I had warranty work that needed to be performed. I had sworn against West Herr as I had horrible experiences with the company's service deprtment, and their blantant attempts to rip off customers who lack in automotive knowledge when I had a previous West Herr vehicle. Both of my rear axle seals blew out on my Silverado, which were under warranty. Because of this, my rear brakes were saturated in axle oil, rendering them useless. The rear brakes needed replacement. My warranty clearly states that, if the failure of a warrantied part causes the failure of a non-warrantied part, the non-warrantied part shall be covered and repaired under waranty. That is unless you use use West Herr. The service department tried to charge me for the brakes. I protested and refused, after quite a while I was then offered 1/2 off the brakes. I then contacted the corporate offices including president Scott Bieler. After telling them I was going to go public with this, I was finally told my brakes were indeed under warranty. This is the norm with West Herr service. This company preys upon its customers in hopes of ripping them off. My previous experiences with west Herr Nissan, and my Titan, were even worse than this.

my experience was great for buying a new car. i came to WestHerr Chevrolet to buy a car i only wanted to deal with Karen Herniak she went above & beyond for my friend getting his car i was very impressed by her. I called her & told her i was looking for a chevy sonic sedan LT in deep magenta & she came thru for me & was very helpful, thorough, friendly, made me feel welcome, introduced to service dept & finance dept, I am very pleased an will recommend anyone to go to WestHerr Chevrolet i will only buy a car from this dealership thankyou for all the effort put in to make my buying a new car easy and effortless more sales representatives should be like Karen Herniak she went the extra mile & effort for me i am truly thankful.I got the car i wanted with alot included and then some all worth the price thankyou. sincerely, Heather Dimitroff

I purchased a GMC Terrain about 2 months ago and I LOVE IT!!! I generally hate having to go into a dealership and purchase a new vehicle however, this time was different.You could tell just by walking in the front door. I was greeted by a few people and everyone seemed eager to help. I had the pleasure of working with Paulette Kelley. (And when I say pleasure I mean PLEASURE!!) She was very knowlegeable and professional. I felt very confident while working with her that I was making the right choice. Feeling comftorable with someone is very important to me, thats where the trust came from. I recommend that anyone going there to purchase a vehicle ask for her by name. You will not be dissapointed!!!!

This is my first experience with West Herr Chevrolet in Hamburg New York. In a matter of a few hours the sales representative, Rick Stadelmaier and I had a deal. He was very knowledgeable, pleasant speaking, and patient. Most importantly he wasn't pushy and I appreciated that. Rick and his team worked with me to get me the car I chose at the monthly payment I could easily afford. When the deal was done Rick spent time with my husband and me explaining all the bells and whistles the Chevrolet Cruze has and also help me set up the "On Star" system. We were very impressed with Rick and West Herr. I would easily recommend both of them to friends and relative. Thank you both for turning my car leasing experience into a pleasant one.

The service is terrible. You have to wait forever to get an appointment just to have your oil changed. Even trying all the West Herr Chevrolet, it was going to be at least 2 weeks. Absolutely crazy. I will never buy another car from West Herr!! Yeah, the salesperson may be nice, but the service isn't. Once you walk out of the dealership, it is not the salesperson you deal with anymore, it's service! So Beware!!

My wife and I had purchased a 10 Charger from West Herr Chevrolet and our salesperson was Michael Stewart. Mr. Stewart was professional, knowledgable and courteous. The whole process was painless unlike the days of old when you bought a used car, the financing, the product they sell and their staff deserve and A+.

i would go anywhere but here the customer service is terrible if u have an issue its like pulling teeth with them to even try to get information. I have brought my car in there more then once and every time its an ordeal once it was they guaranteed me that they could properly diagnose my car but the next day they called me said we cant do it and when i went to pick it up they charged me 200 to get the keys back and when i tried to talk to some one about it they would either keep forwarding me back to the main desk or not pick up the phone and when i left a message they wouldn't get back to me. and now im in another dispute with them and im getting the same thing again i cant stand this place

UPDATE: They did indeed decide to fix the seatbelt...even willing to do it in the Williamsville location. Not giving a perfect score due to the hassle of dealing with it though. My wife and I just bought a used 2012 Equinox about a week ago the car is very good and was very reasonably priced, but there is one major caveat.We noticed on our drive home that one of the back seat seat belts is all jacked up and frayed in 2 or 3 places. We called to inquire about getting it fixed within the 3 day 'return' period. My wife was told that it wasn't under warranty, but that they MIGHT be able to do something if we could drive from Amherst to Hamburg during service hours of 8-4 Monday through Friday. So now one of us has to miss half a day of work. The salesman was Paul Sanchez. Also we were only given 3/4 of a tank of gas, it was my understanding a full tank was standard operating procedure.I will update my review if this is addressed in a timely positive way. I do realize it was our fault for missing it, but something so blatantly obvious should have been mentioned by the salesman and should be fixed at this point without question... it's a $50 part.My advice, go somewhere else... We have had really good luck with Fucillo Toyota and Paddock Chevrolet.
