Booked through Hotwire with guarantee it'd sleep 2 adults and two kids but didn't mention that meant the smallest queen sized bed I'd ever seen and a small pull out couch. There were hairs in the bathtub from the previous occupant and the carpet didn't seem vacuumed. There was a lot of outdoor traffic noise but the interior of the hotel itself was quiet. Breakfast was a disappointment... Cold eggs, no fresh fruit, few non-carb laden items. I've stayed in better accommodations but have definitely seen worse. Nothing special about this place but not a "roach coach" either. My stay was adequate.

The hotel was nice and clean. A more up to date feel. The only down side is the hotel is next to a couple party houses. There where college kids going back and forth to the house and downtown.

The hotel room was nice. Breakfast was disgusting. The front desk person was never there. When I came to check in, the person was outside smoking. They also were very rude when I called to ask about razers. The rooms are nice but the staff needs work.

The building is great/ NO notice of remodel on web site/ The bed was uncomfortable/ The heat system for the hotel outside sounded like a helicopter outside off and on all night/ WOULD NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN/ the bottom of pool you can see the dirt on the floor of pool/got room for my 12 year old to swim/ boxes of new tile lined up down hallway/just not a nice stay/the clerk spent most of her time on her cell phone texting in back room instead of up front helping

I travel a lot for business and stay in a lot of hotels. Grandstand St. Cloud is the closest to feeling like home for me. The staff is nice, the rooms are clean, and there is both wireless and wired internet. Plenty to do within walking distance. Good food and spirits in the area. Only thing that would make it better is a more comfortable mattress. They are very stiff.

Our rooms were being paid for by a partnering business with the hotel and the front staff seemed very cold and angry with us that we weren't paying for our own rooms and they were under the partnerships name.. if they had nicer staff, it would be a perfect hotel.

Kaylee, front desk clerk, is rude (no greeting, no "thank you" or "please"), complained about problems with the key. Wifi didn't work. Water was lukewarm, carpet is frayed and torn in the room, dishes were in the dishwasher and none in the cupboards Good thing this was a gift certificate as I certainly wouldn't pay for a stay here.

Excellent service. Beautiful rooms and lobby. Better than your average continental breakfast.
