Kinda painful watching yet another Proton-M failure.  Very spectacular, but you gotta know someone(s) is not gonna feel a lot of love from Mr. Putin.

Interesting.  On several levels.  Perhaps what is most interesting is the continued obsession with Russian engines.  SpaceX took the tougher route; but now they don't need Russian engines to be competitive.

There's a lesson there, somewhere...

Sea Launch seems so quaint...  I also think they will need a serious amount of Unobtainium in the middle wing to keep those two fuselages (what is the plural for fuselage anyway?) from heading off in different directions.
Stratolaunch has solidified its partnership with Orbital Sciences Corp. to develop a new rocket capable of launching payloads into orbit from what will be the world's widest airplane.
