We really enjoyed our stay there. The room we had was nice. It had an older feel to it, but was very comfortable. It's close to a lot of stuff. Parking can be tough as it's surrounded by one way streets (all of San Diego Downtown) and they don't have a designated parking lot. The breakfast was small but nice. The people that work at the desk are knowledgeable about the area and were very helpful. They showed us to our room and were very hospitable. I would do it again.

Great location for night life and great Italian food in little Italy. Hotel is clean and staff is friendly and good stay for the lower price. Rooms are a little tight and the toilet had a slow run of water that they couldn't fix over the weekend

Very charming and cozy hotel and room. The room was small but perfectly fine. There's also a nice patio to relax after a busy day. One negative is that parking is on the street and can be hard to find sometimes, although I didn't have much issue.

We got the economy room and although shared bathrooms sound like a deal breaker... It's not. The stay was great with decent breakfast and really lively hosts! I would definitely go again anytime I'm in the area.

Great location. Reasonable price for San Diego. Very difficult to find parking. Noisy. Nice patio. Not as clean as it should have been. So-so breakfast.

Great location but a disappointing stay. The building is a classic old place and it is showing in the general disrepair of some aspects. The windows in my room could not be closed completely which made for noisy nights next to Grape Ave. I was repeatedly awakened during the nights from car noise. The wifi was weak and cut out often. I was limited to two hangers in the broken down wardrobe/cabinet, and the Keurig coffee maker was not functional. Parking can be a real nightmare in that area. Most of the streets have no parking for street sweeping various nights of the week (2-6am) so you need to be careful when you leave the car for the night. The best part was the accessibility to Little Italy and even downtown isn't hard to walk to. Easy to get to the freeways as well. Regardless, I won't be back.

The hotel is nice and clean with a good location in Little Italy. Lots of places to eat and drink around here. We little the chicness of the hotel. Receptionist was nice too and showed us to our room.
