I have a standing desk. But this takes it to a whole new level.

This could be the ultimate standing desk: http://on.mash.to/1ro11Rd

What a great way to reflect upon the year.

Start this on January 1, 2014. It's a great idea for you or the entire family with a fun payoff in about 365 days.

Jane Jacobs: Neighborhoods in Action

Wow, this is really powerful. I read Jane Jacobs in my early twenties and was so moved by her description of healthy, livable cities and what it takes to get there. As she says, one way is to let kids do their crazy skateboard things. Being active is good and healthy. I couldn't agree more. We need built environments that encourage us to walk, bike, and interact with each other.

On a personal note, on my way to getting healthy I walked 21,000 steps yesterday!

Totally inspiring video. I laughed and I cried and feel hopeful that this is how we will win the fight to save our planet from catastrophic climate change. http://vimeo.com/32174618

Wondering how +Nicholas Kristof is appearing in my "Actual Friends" stream when he's not in that circle. Maybe G+ is trying to fulfill one of my dreams.

Perfectly understood what we were looking for in flowers for our wedding. We presented them with a series of pictures that represented the flavor and style we wanted to achieve and without just simply replicating the pictures, they pulled it all together to truly represent us. They were able to get us unique flowers straight from Holland that really stood out. Polished, unique, and personalized. No need to go anywhere else.
