Our client had existing stamped concrete and layers of a coating on top... We ground the existing substrate to remove the existing stamped concrete finish, and bring it back down to the original layer of concrete. We then carried out an external polished concrete "Hone & Seal" finish, and finally finished off the floor using a natural look penetrating sealer. The second photo shows the difference between the sealed and unsealed substrate. http://ow.ly/i/lNJXb

Burnished Polished Concrete with no aggregate exposure has to be my all time favourite polished concrete finish - although difficult to achieve if the concrete is not 100% perfect, sometimes the slight imperfections can add a little unique touch to the floor. I might be biased but this 130sqm floor we did in NQ last week is nothing short of amazing!! Our boys did such a great job.

Personalise your new home build by adding coloured pebbles/stones or glass to the concrete after it has been poured - like our client has done here.
We were specified by the architect for this new home build to carry out Mechanical Polished Concrete to approx 100sqm, completed this week.
The owner wanted to add some personal flare to the floor and chose some bright coloured pebbles/glass to be added once the concrete had been poured and it gives such a beautiful effect.
If you're interested in adding your own personal touch give me a call and I will tell you where to get the stones/glass/pebbles from 1300 693 566. http://ow.ly/i/iURrs http://ow.ly/i/iURrM http://ow.ly/i/iURs4 http://ow.ly/i/iURsi

Here is a Mechanical Polished Concrete job we have completed, there is a section where clearly 2 different types of concrete have been used - this is due to the builder failing to install the concrete slab to the correct perimeters at the time of the pour, so a completely different mix was used by the builder to fill the gap.
Let us know your thoughts on the job as a whole! http://ow.ly/i/iSGNk http://ow.ly/i/iSGNw http://ow.ly/i/iSGNV http://ow.ly/i/iSGOc http://ow.ly/i/iSGQY
