I have done collision repair claims for this company and they are the worst, most unprofessional people my shop has dealt iwth in our 40 year history. People don't return calls, they don't pay for months and months and are ultimately - WILDLY - disorganized. Send your money to people who deserve it when buying insurance, do not support this company.

we have been paying auto and house insurance for a number of years to this insurance company with no claims. A month ago, we had a leak in a plumbing pipe behind the kitchen wall which destroyed our wall and damaged our floor. We fixed the plumbing leak ourselves, and removed all the damaged wall, when the contractor was sent out to assess the damage, they refused to cover the damage to the floor and would only repair the wall, and not the floor, and also at a cost estimated at considerably more than if we fixed it ourselves. They could not determine where the water damage to the floor, which occurred at the same time as the leak in the plumbing, had alternatively come from,yet still refused to repair. As a result, we are doing the repair ourselves, Northbridge keeps all the money we have paid them for insurance coverage, and we are CHANGING Insurance companies. Do Not trust this insurance company to make good on any claim you make !!!!

Hearing all the horror storys people have with insurance claims my wife and I were mortified when we had a house fire a while ago. We lot so much, thankfully the Fire Department was very close and arrived quickly enough we didn't lose our house. Although most personal items were ruined with heavy smoke damage and basicall the house had to be rebuilt. Right away our Northbridge rep helped by getting us into a furnished house to reside in until our work was completed (compared to a cheap motel like other stories we've heard). Our adjuster was very fair and really did try to ease the process. The contractors that were on the Pre Approved list we used were fantastic. Kept us in the loop all the way through. It took just over eight months until we were back in our completed, furnished house. We haven't enough words to describe how helpful and empathetic this company was. There are so many terrible stories one hears about things like this, although we'll never get back items that hold memories we must say that we were very happy the way we were treated, how quickly everythng was settled and how fast they moved to get us back in our home.

If it is not Kurtis (PBL insurance brokerage), we would have switched our fleet policy years back due to lake of responsibility from claims department (they made us 50% at fault with out even getting police report and no claim from our side made). Kurtis (PBL insurance brokerage) proved, one person can change full image of the company. We got no other choice then 5 Stars. but please fix your claims people. if owner needs more information email info@limoguy.ca for details.

Don't use Northbridge ,they will take your money but if you want to get your car fixed??? used parts and you better have all your bills on hand or they will do what they think is rite.And if you want to talk to someone about your claim. forget it they will take there time.4 months and still not done.

I don't know what to make of this company than to say that their workplace environment is very hostile. I recently attended an interview at their Adelaide office and this Vice president of Business relationship management was rude and very hostile in her questioning. I don't know why an applicant's studies outside Canada had to do with the job I applied for. This woman kept asking me why I attended a school in the U.K. and not Canada. She was very aggressive and was raising her hands when she was asking me questions. This company needs to fix it's workplace environment big time.

Recently dealt with Northridge Insurance in order to resolve a matter regarding there clients negligence resulting on our mother sustaining a hip injury, decline in health and eventually passing away. One year after she passed away, and two and a half years after she was injured they are dragging this out and show absolutely no remorse for that they did to our family. No compassion at all and they are treating our mother as if she is a used car. I explained this and I am very disappointed in a system that treats the most vulnerable, children and in this case the elderly like second class citizens with no regard for there well being or any type of respect. I am sure all insurance companies are the same but our experience with Northridge is disgusting. More to come on twitter, Facebook, etc etc.
