Family-owned soul-food restaurant in an unpretentious space lined with vintage photos.- Google
"Yam fries, catfish, crab cakes, grits + collard greens: yummy!"
"Great food, service and atmosphere, but I think they have limited drink choices."

Wife and I went here for the first time last night and absolutely loved it. We arrived about 5:40 (right before the dinner rush) and immediately got a table. Service was great, and the food was delicious! I definitely recommend this place and suggest that you come with an appetite, the servings are huge!

Great food with really nice ambience and decor. I strongly recommend you leave plenty of room for dessert - they are to die for and come in very large portions. I'm a huge fan of their banana bread pudding!

Simply amazing; this has the casualness of a cafe but the service and food of an upscale restaurant. Went here for happy hour and was not disappointed; inexpensive too! Highly recommend.

Every time I go to Kingfish Cafe it's always a pleasure. The wait staff is attentive and always on spot with their service and the food reminds me of home. The fried chicken is the best in the city. If you haven't been here you must check this place out!

Hearty portions of authentic Southern Food attracts a crowd with lines out the door at opening time a common sight. The food is a bit overrated in my book, but still very good. The pan-fried catfish was moist and flaky, the greens tangy and succulent. But the coconut cake, while huge, was a bit of a gut bomb
