Lacks customer service. Orders are never taken proerly. The elder man on the phone is very rude and impatient. I placed and order and he was not at all helpful and did not care to apologize or help. I would recommend dining or taking out, it does not feel like a family restursnt, just a fast food joint. Very dissapointed the old management was amazing. I would advise the staff to learn how to speak with customers. If you do not enjoy people, this is not the right job for you.

Food is okay but when ordering take-out they cant remember the basics like tzatziki sauce so pretty much ruined the entire dinner for a 20 minute drive. Called up to complain was told that the Girl was "new" like that's a valid excuse for their incompetence. Awful customer service GL

not bad if you're going for some basic chicken souvlaki or a gyro but i wasn't impressed with their greek salad. mostly lettuce and the dressing was un-inspired. i thought the price was fair but i'd probably look elsewhere if i felt like going greek again.

Let me start by saying the food isn't all that for Greek food. its been 6 years since i have been there, and now is when i feel i can honestly post what happened there. I married into a Greek family, they all moved to long island about 2 years before and were having trouble finding something Greek that was suitable to Astoria Queens restaurants. this place suited their needs until better could be found. (distance was short) we were steady customers and the owner came from my father in-laws Island. we even did baby showers and baptism's parties. well one evening i was celebrating a small birthday dinner with my wife, kids and mother in-law. and we were going to be attended by our regular waiter, when some young cocky girl decided to take our table away from our regular guy.i would not have minded if it didn't feel a little uncomfortable and i could tell our waiter was concerned. you could see she was overdoing it. i like attention but this was too much. it made me and my guest a little uncomfortable. the waiter we normally had came buy and apologized discreetly for her behavior, and i said it wasn't a problem to make him feel better, but in all honestly we were all uncomfortable. needless to say we finished our meal and they sang me happy birthday and we were brought the check. I we gave her the standard 15%. trust me this was more than she deserved just because of the excessive uncomfortable behavior. we left. as i was in the parking lot loading my kids in the car she came out and confronted me about the tip. asked me if her service was not good. I said it was o.k. (once again not wanting to make a scene in front of my guests) she says and i quote "your tip doesn't reflect that " i was appalled! i stood there in shock and said, sorry you feel that way. she walked away apparently smug in her action. once i loaded my family in the car i headed back to the restaurant to complain as i felt the owners would not accept that behavior when i ran into another one of the Employee's who knew us. i asked what was the girls name and he said not to bother that she was the owners son's girlfriend and she has been acting like this and no one says anything. they lost much business, my Greek family were all informed of the situation and we have found other places since to spend our money at. so if "GREEK VILLAGE" is reading this, this is why the Greeks from North Babylon and Holbrook no longer have been at your establishment. that young lady inspired us to find better food elsewhere. Oh piece of advice to your son. work and play should be kept separate for these same exact reasons.

love it here. we order in or dine here a couple times a month. seriously no one makes a better salad. the milton's chicken is wonderful and the greek classics are heavenly. i also love the falafel. honestly never been disappointed. large dining room and friendly staff. the kids chicken fingers are amazing, not those over breaded fried to a crisp things on other menus.

Bad experience. Ordered chicken with pita, forced to have it with rice, tasted badly
