Went to Japan with my modified Sony NEX-5N. I removed the hot filter a while ago... Most of these pics are taken with a filter that blocks visible light, so you're seeing between 720nm and ~1000nm. Several pics with the 16mm Sony, most of the pics are with a 50mm Nikon Nikkor MF. Hugin for all the panoramas.

Am I really the only engineer who firmly believes "We really don't need IPv6" and that it has completely wasted millions of man-hours?

Geared mostly for engineers, just uploaded my newest video.  Ever wonder how those individually controlled LED strips work?  Well, I cover that, and how you can use the coolest IoT thing ever, the ESP8266 to output to them in a whole new way: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6zqGwxqJQnw

It is like the people who wrote RFC1951 got in a competition to determine what was the minimum number of words they could use to fully define a standard.  I am convinced that what they produced was something that human has ever been capable of understanding, and instead is used as a prank to play on unsuspecting code monkeys.

Will pointed out you can say (f!=f) and it's the same as isnan(f).  I didn't believe him.  It only took 17 seconds for my computer to process every possible 32-bit combination to say: indeed they are identical, and f != f is ~3x faster than isnan(f).
